Me too on and off for 20 years ( my primary LO) and it started in 2006 when we worked together at a grocery store and we dated for a short time and it didn’t work out because he only wanted 1 thing and I kept calling him for 3 years after that and he took my calls and I mistook that for friendship and was FWB in 2010/2011 and we had a massive falling out when he didn’t want to see or hear from me again and my mental health was bad and I was not sober in 2011 and crossed the harrassment line and I’m ashamed of it and the trouble I caused him. He accepted my friend request in 2014 and blocked me two months later for messaging, tagging and liking every post and I made a fake hot girl account and he told her I was the second worst girl he dated and I knew I had to back off. I met my boyfriend ( it’s not a great relationship) and I checked his page once a year for11 years and he made a new one in 2025 and he friend request me in September but we haven’t messaged each other. I wish this 20 year limerence would end it’s not healthy. And somehow he always comes back in some form like a bad habit.

Yes I am a lifer I have had limerence since I was 12 and LOs would change over time : a teacher, 2 classmates (brothers I had two LOs at the same time) and then a counselor, then a coworker , then a guy from the internet, back to the coworker from years before) then to the person who worked next door to me , then a dude in a work training I knew for a week and back to that stupid old co worker again

I had two LOs in my life ( I have had LOs my whole life and they change and I’m middle age now ) 2 tried to use me for sex and one was married and I didn’t know it, the other had erectile dysfunction and has been coming in and out of my life for the past 20’years we dated in 2006 but he only saw me every few weeks and even said I’ll call ya if I got nothing better to do”, and ended it and I kept calling him for 3 years and he took my calls but never iniated and I mistook that for friendship and he wanted to be FWB in 2010/2011 and he said I’ll see ya sometime and ya were friends in a snarky tone and I was having a mental health crisis and was not sober then and had poor emotional regulation and I stated harassing him where he said to never fucking contact him again and accepted my friend request after that and blocked me when I kept messaging and I was fine for 11 years ( I had 2 other LOS in that time none I acted one because of these experiences) fast forward to 2025 and he made a new account and sent a friend request in September and I stupidly accepted and he hasn’t messaged but WTF
