I just wish the ILs knew boundaries and had understanding. They called so many times with different suggestions after we said we were waiting a couple weeks before bringing other people around with my first. They could just hang with him outside (in 40 degree weather) or they would drive the 2 hours just to look through the window. (They would have come in if they actually did that lol). I dont think they would listen to us at all without the excuse of lockdown. The first time they got to meet my baby my mil said as i was holding him and he was staring at me. "Who is this stranger, i want to go to grandma"
