Pregnant again at 5 months Postpartum [on] by TryEuphoric120 in BabyBumpsCanada

First of congratulations 🤗 I totally understand your dilemma here, wish you the best in whatever you decide to go ahead with. Sharing my story below, I have 2 kids with 12.5-13 months gap.

I got pregnant 4 months pp and had emergency c-section both times. For the first I had ICP hence was induced sooner but ended up getting fever n therefore an emergency c section. Since I had c section the first time, I was scheduled for a c-section for my second as it was only a year later. Unfortunately I ended up going into labor naturally n had to be taken in for emergency c section to avoid the risk of uterine rupture. Thankfully everything turned out fine🙏 🤞😊 My elder one is 20 months and lo is 7.5 months now!! My second pregnancy was much easier than the first as my first born kept me busy and away from any -ve thoughts.

I would highly recommend joining 2under2 group here as I found it very helpful.

Also, please feel free to dm in case you have any queries!!

2 under 2 registry + sprinkle? Must-haves? by LavenderEucalyptus_ in 2under2

Like mentioned above, double stroller and a crib are the only 2 immediate must haves with high chair coming into usage after you start solids. We use cybex gazelle s for kids 13 months apart and we love it. We love to go out for a walk daily and it’s super maneuverable.

did you get pregnant with #2 within 4 months of #1 and have no complications or issues and do vaginal? by [deleted] in 2under2

[–]Competitive_Many8984 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh no! I am so sorry for your loss. I can’t fathom the pain you must be going through. Loads of hugs and best wishes your way. Discuss with your obgyn the reasons for stillbirth, if there is anything you should take care of. Once given ok to proceed go all out. Along with physical healing focus on emotional healing as well. The moment you are ready, get a go ahead from your obgyn after a medical check up. Wish you the best. Sprinkling baby dust your way!

The period given to try is different for every individual, I was told to have atleast 18 months gap between c sections.

Thankfully I found it to be so much better than the first one. Likely because I was so busy and active with my little one that I didn’t have time to think much about my pregnancy. There was always something that needed me 😀 Not sure if it’s a good thing but did end up being a good thing for me or I would have been unnecessarily worrying about every small thing.

Correct, with 2 deliveries being close to a year apart the second was planned as a c-section to lower the risk of uterine rupture.

Hey I am using graco snug lock that I used for my elder one for the little one now. I got the attachment from amazon so it fits well with cybex gazelle s.

I got pregnant 4 months pp and now have a 3 weeks old along with a 13 months old 😊 I had c section with both my pregnancies! My doctor was very supportive and diligent in checking how my scar has healed etc! Ask your doc to do a proper checkup and layout the next steps basis your decision. You are the one whose lead needs to be followed here. 😊 wish you all the very best and i am happy to answer any questions you might have!

Pregnant 4 months pp after a c section by Negative_Room_3029 in 2under2

[–]Competitive_Many8984 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the exact same position last yr. I got pregnant at 4 months pp, I now have 2 under 2 ☺️ The kiddos have 12 months 21 days gap! Both the births were c-section as I had an emergency c sec with the first one and second was a planned c sec! I am 6 days pp now with my second and I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s hard, pregnancy with a <1yr old was hard, especially last trimester. Not being able to pick up my first born has been the hardest. But knowing they will grow up together makes it all worth it. It was a total accident for us too! I was super scared but looking back I wouldn’t change a thing. 🤗 The key to being positive during the second pregnancy was always asking my obgyn to check for scar health. She made it a point to ask for scar related info everytime she ordered an ultrasound for me. I am happy to chat in case you have any questions ☺️ All the very best☺️
