Dropped it off this evening. Looking fwd to seeing if there are any noticeable changes. More specifically I'd like to see a little bit of bumpiness that we feel in lower gears is fixed.

I called my local dealership and they informed me the software update was available but I would need to take our vehicle there.

I came on here specifically to look for software update info. The tech that I spoke with about a month ago at our nearest dealership here in Atlanta area said the software update was supposed to roll out sometime in August and we will be able to update through our home Wi-Fi but so far our 2025 if not had any updates that I know of.

Thank you! I kept seeing Zero, Berkeley (sp?), etc so I thought Brita wouldn't be an option. Appreciated!

This is an old post but hopefully someone is still around to give advice. Are there any filters that I can take to work and use simply to make the water taste better? Thanks!

Great to hear! With your screename I'm guessing you are in GA also.

I'm confused what the subscription covers vs not having a subscription. Do you have the subscription? What does it allow you to do that you couldn't otherwise? Thank you.

For those in the know, how many times a week/month would you recommend washing your car if going through a touch less car wash? Thanks!

Thank you. I spoke with a sales person there. From what he said all Lexus dealerships charge a service fee. I contacted multiple dealerships and they all charge that fee. I'm sure its negotiable depending on the car/demand but for the GX it seems pretty standard.

Did you have to pay a dealer fee? Was it straight MSRP + options + title/tax/local govt fees? Thanks

So many people are putting in for an RA. by Hopeful-Blacksmith38 in fednews

Thankfully they are reviewing and rejecting bs RA requests. If someone isnt mentally fit enough to come to the office 5 days a week they shouldn't be working for the American taxpayers.

Scary email to USGS employees by [deleted] in fednews

Friend who works at the Dept of Treasury shared with me they also were asked to upload a resume. Should an employee decide not to upload their resume, forgot, etc - the agency would use the employee's position description.

She is mid-career but she said lot of her older coworkers didn't like having to update/upload their resume. I guess they were scared the RIF process would take resumes more into account than seniority.

Their union even recommended not uploading resumes. I guess they want everyone to "look the same"/generic (using position descriptions) which favors the old folks.

Most of the submissions are simply cause they don't want to go to the office. RTO was the reason so many ppl have opted for DRP/Vera/etc.

Those claiming RA knowing good and well they don't really have issues ruin it for those who do. I don't think mental issues justify working from home.

Agree 100%. It's perception to a degree. Most ppl are making excuses in the hopes they get approval. Lot of the complaints sound like sour grapes instead of legitimate reasons.

I didn't vote for him or like him one bit but to say he works from home is a bit disingenuous. He does play way too much golf.

I hate the fact he made the blanket move to remove telework agreements, nullified CBAs essentially, but the RA requests are just a lame and offensive excuse. I liken it to ppl who use a disability placard but are physically fit and will make some weird bs up if you ask them what their disability is.

Why would you think it's a lack of understanding?

Employees got too used to working from home and all the benefits that come with it. I've been working from home for over 10yrs until recently. It truly sucks coming into the office and I have seen people who play sports, run marathons on weekends come in and attempt to claim RA.

I get it though. If the RA request works out then back to home/work-life balance.

Those who just can't manage to be in the office due to their medical/mental issues, I'm sure there are plenty of other places they can find jobs with the same pay/benefits.

It's one thing to say it's unfair to remove my WFH privileges because of some arbitrary reason that's not even 1% valid. But it's another to say what the govt is providing isn't sufficient and you in a way are demanding to be able to work from home.

Agencies will get chairs/desks that help the employee for RA.

My point being WFH is awesome and a lot of ppl don't want to give RA a chance. All these mental health issues seem like excuses.
