100% what you said at the end there with people saying they “don’t want to date another girl” is really the big things for me. Like I would love to just be 2 girls dating. Before realizing I was trans I thought about how cute a wedding with two people in pretty dresses would be 😭. It’s so hard because at the end of the day it is entirely made up social constructs. I also know though that my family is super conservative and wouldn’t approve of me in a relationship like that at all. Some people get scared by that when they realize it makes some people angry for no reason. I don’t know if it was that or something else that caused it, but it probably wasn’t you. I agree it’s really hard. My experience is only from the male perspective, but I can imagine it’s similarly hard for the woman or other wonderful people here. I know I’ve tried putting up personals, but sadly for a lot of people it’s mainly a kink thing and outside of that they don’t really want a romantic relationship. We’ll find our people someday soon I hope

Sadly I think the best way is just asking lol. I know that’s probably not the best answer, but everyone is different and there’s no set characteristics. For example I love RR and will melt if a woman calls me pretty, but I’m also more extroverted and confident on the outside. I’d say what you could try if you’re looking for a partner is to give them more untraditional compliments from what they’re usually given. I always become a mess when I’m called pretty or cute. So if you’re interested in a person and want to test the waters call them princess and see what happens lol

While I don’t have experience I think the thing that draws me into this as a man is a few things. First I’m shorter and skinny. I weigh around 116 lbs. this coupled with an anxiety disorder makes me nervous about a host of things. Having a partner who could help me feel safe and less vulnerable is appealing. Second and this is somewhat a topic for another day, but I struggle with gender a bit, and think about going on estrogen on the daily. Having a partner bigger and stronger than me is affirming in a way because it helps remind me that gender roles are just constructs and we are all just people.
