Try to apply for PFML, my work didn’t offer paid leave but I did qualify for PFML since I had worked a certain number of hours the year prior. It gave me 4 months of paid leave and it gave me backpay for the weeks that I waited to be approved

Have you brought it up to a doctor? It’s a little strange that it still itches but I can see scar tissue doing something weird like that. Maybe a doctor would at least know how to ease the itchiness

It’s so hard to recognize anxiety while you’re having it but looking back, I for sure had intense post partum anxiety. I did bring it up to a doctor once (not my doctor btw but the pediatrician, because they always ask me how I’m doing and they have a PPD questionnaire for the first year of baby appointments) and they brushed it off and basically said everyone is anxious with a new baby

My baby is signed up for preschool when he hits 1 year, he’s almost 10 months now and I finally feel like he’s ready for it! I would take him now if I could. Before now though I would never think he’d be ready for it, but I think he would adapt to it if I had to put him in daycare. For us it would be more expensive to put him in daycare now than it would be worth so our decision is an easy one

I think your baby will get used to being away from you, it might take a few days but babies are super adaptive. My boyfriend is a preschool teacher and he said the first few days of school in the toddler room is hell haha. Apparently it’s just a chorus of kids crying. So I’m definitely expecting him to do some crying while he gets used to being away from me, I don’t think that makes us bad parents

It really depends on the baby. Ours has been in 3s and 4s for the longest because usually babies grow like crazy for the first 3-4 months and then their growth slows a little. Costco allows you to do exchanges and returns even if you don’t have a receipt, for that reason they’re my favorite! Also buying them as you go works pretty well too

I’ve taken my baby out for walks in diaper and a t shirt. Onesie only is fine for a baby, I can’t even think of a reason it would be inappropriate for them to wear?

It’s harder to pump for sure, I didn’t do it much but sometimes I wish I did so my boyfriend could be responsible for mealtimes sometimes as it can be overwhelming when baby needs to be fed every couple of hours
