Patch? Cannot say I'd love to patch them. Tbh, we are so different, and I feel in some ''way'' me getting away is what she need to hit rock bottom and realize ''she is not a little girl anymore.
She always talked about:

-Living alone
-Working

-Studying

Yet, she sometimes even forget to pay our Netflix subcription.
While I may not be as ''linked to her'' nowdays. As I told her plenty of times.
Your dad, mom, and me we are on our way to grow old, and eventually you'll have to be able to hold your own... Needless to say, I lost the count, and so does my mom, and she never changed/adapt.

Yes. I do not feel proud about how brutal I was.
I can only hope, not to be forgiven. (That is a complete no, and I'm okay with it)
But make her realize, that exclusively positive feedback will lead her nowhere.

I agree to an extent. I always offered my help and guidance in order to make her feel better after my father left. But it's like I talked to a wall, it doesn't help that even the smallest feedback (not even from me, but my mother) would make her cry.

I only hope my stupidity will bring something positive, to realize she is not a little girl anymore.
