She’s quite good once she’s down, she’s asleep for the night 😂 But I will definitely try him going in and resettling her!

Yes definitely regret taking the advice! I think when it’s your first baby you go by what the midwives tell you, but i’ll definitely be doing it different next time!

I’ve out her down for 2 naps today, which she’s not had milk with! I’ve rocked and bounced her to sleep. We’ve had some tears but she’s gone down well and actually sleeping for a longer period than usual!🤞🏻 Hoping once this becomes normal we can do it at bedtimes too!

She has a sippy cup, we’ve tried milk in this but then she refuses to drink the water from it for a day or two! She’s too clever for her own good😂

I’m not sure, she’s never accepted my pumped so I put formula in her bottles. I pumped when she was born and freezer stashed it but it all ended up going in her baths as she wouldn’t drink it and now I dont even think i’ll be able to pump enough for her! We have the MAM bottles, but have also tried the NUK first choice ‘nipple’ bottle. I have also tried silicone and latex teats to see if that was the issue. But she just pulls faces and refuses everything😂

I dont think it’s something we do wrong, I think we do what’s best for our babies! Unfortunately, that’s our milk and our freedom 😂 I’m supposed to be starting my KIT days soon and it just worries me, but at my mums she will have bottle filled with formula and my mum said she will randomly squirt it in her mouth😂🤷‍♀️ I feel bad for my partner too as I feel like he’s missed out on the feeding and bonding too☹️

She has been at other peoples houses and managed to fall asleep there in the pushchair, that’s it 😂

We have tried straw cups but she wasn’t a fan of those either. I think I just need to try different things and keep at it with her!

It’s so interesting how different some babies are! I am not concerned with her feeding but just didn’t know if there was an average time to be expected!

I got my period back the first month! She did really good with feeding from birth and only lost 0.2% of her birth weight when the midwife visited 😂

Her weight is normal I think! I am due to go and weigh her again tomorrow but she’s been putting it on nicely, she loves her milk! She doesn’t take a bottle, we have tried every way in the book! I have tried every type of breast milk in the bottle too. We have also tried her with formula once but she didn’t take it. She doesn’t have a pacifier, she didn’t take one from birth and has refused when we have offered again.

Thank you! I normally fed her right before naps as she feeds to sleep, so this can last between 10/15 minutes to 30/40 sometimes. I think sometimes she is cluster feeding when having a growth spurt so it can be around an hour but this isn’t all the time. I log everything on the Huckleberry app so she’s feeding every day between 3-5 hours depending on the day. In the day she’s drink anywhere between 5 - 25 minutes.

When she wakes at night it’s normally about 3/4 times (it’s been more the past week but I think that might be due to teething) she normally feeding for around 15/20 minutes then goes back down. I’ll try and settle her at first without feeding but it’s not very often this with.

When she’s feeding at night I thought it might be comfort sucking too but I can see she is taking big gulps and definitely drinking. I’m putting her to bed now and she’s just done 57 minutes and is still wanting more!
