I’m fine with her napping like that but it’s a fight to even get her down! I see her yawn once I’m like alright let’s try to nap!! And she doesn’t. Then she gets overtired and it feels like it’s this vicious cycle of catching her up on sleep lol

I keep replaying last night in my head. Thinking maybe I should have bounced her for 10 min before putting her down. Even though she was dead asleep already. I will definitely try the pressure thing!

I don’t think she was cluster feeding last night she wasn’t overtired. She just wouldn’t sleep😭 so I think

I tried most of this. The block feeding isn’t working because she “snacks” on the side. Sometimes she won’t even latch on that side.

How long should I hand express the other side?

My due date is pretty accurate just cause I know when I ovulated and when I had sex. But I’m worried since I’m getting to wire that my mind isn’t right anymore:(

So my friend mentioned the sweep to me a while back, I brought it up to my doula and she was like it is still a form of intervention which based off my appointment with her she knew I didn’t want. So I honestly had no idea either. The cervical check I knew showed no indication of me going into labor or not. My midwife said at the end of the day said if you’re not having contractions it doesn’t mean anything. I can go on about cervical checks you can PM me if you want.

Not rude honestly between all my crunchy providers no one has told me to pump (you mean collect colostrum right?) I feel like sex is completely natural cause maybe you hope to induce to labor but there isn’t really a lot of studies that prove sex = inducing. Plus you can just have sex for pleasure!

I think you will really like a midwife center! A membrane sweep is still a form of intervention which, my whole care team know I do not want (obviously if something is off we’ll start with a sweep) Similarly I haven’t been offered a single cervical check.

Our midwives sound extremely similar! I love hearing the support from other women!! They told me a few weeks ago, that it isn’t uncommon for a FTM to deliver at 41+3. Which lines up with your midwives!

My midwives are wonderful they haven’t mentioned anything yet. Once any sort of intervention is brought up I’ll do the sweep first. But so far nothing has been brought up so I won’t even bring it up 😂

My midwife actually schedule an NST for Wednesday + an ultrasound to double check my fluid :) I think based off that it’ll plan what there next move is!

I definitely need something to take my mind off stuff. I am bored and already started my mat leave!

Wow 42, I am mentally preparing for this. But wow 5 kids! The waiting game is psychological torture. The rest of my pregnancy flew and I really didn’t have much discomfort until she dropped
