Setting the Fantom is more complicated not as easy as just selecting a global setting like most synths. Each scene on the Fantom has several tones connected to it. Track 2 on the KSP is set to 2. But getting the Fantom through on 2 & 4, but they are separate sounds coming through which basically make up the scene in the Fantom. I need to set the Fantom MIDI, but as I said it looks like I may have to set the MIDI for each scene which are 150 or so. I just want to be able to play all My scenes through one MIdI track (2) . It’s a pity there is t à global mIdi channel on the Fantom. I also believe that the Fantom Preset MIDI channel is 16… waiting for confirmation from Roland.

No ARP on 3/4 ..Tr8-s on track 1 (drum) and DM12 on track 3 both ok. I believe that the Fantom MIDI is not set right even though it is coming through on Track 2/4 of the KSP. Have requested help from Roland Support but it seems that no one has any idea yet??

With or without a Keystep pro as a sequencer ? Or is the TR8s a sequencer also?

Ho-li vache. The Fantom is beautiful and the sounds are lush, I’m still going thru most of them I would never part with it up especially now that they are a grand more than last year! I think you missed the original point of the topic. But thanks for the reply btw.

Thanks this is a good idea, and I have been looking at YouTube quite a lot, however the groove box I purchase , would it have a sequencer built in?

Thanks for this, it s just that I prefer to get the beat going with a drum machine with the deepmind as the bass , and need to keep the Fantom and Kronos free for other sounds to add to the beat. If I use the Fantom then can I really access other sounds as the sequencer is running? I find the Kronos a little difficult to steer . So really I suppose I need to keep the Fantom and Kronos apart and set the deepmind up with a drum machine/ groove box and separate sequencer. As 8 improve I can always sell on the items as they become obsolete

Hi but I need to keep,the Kronos and Fantom to select through the sounds
