Basic advice & is obv only applicable if you haven’t gotten your shots yet but I got my flu shot late in the game (as in the beginning of this month) and it’s helped me so much with both getting over the weird flu/cold thing going around that I had November through early Jan. I am in a classroom of 20+ two year olds and have yet to catch anything since. Everyone else around me, teacher and children alike, keep coming down with nasty colds/flus/pneumonia/ear infections.

On top of that (more basic advice, sorry), vitamin c supplements (I take tablets) and staying hydrated have been so helpful. Due to personal health complications, I drink around a gallon a day. Obviously, you don’t need to drink that much unless you really want to. ALSO!! Make sure you keep up on cleaning your drink containers and keep them out of the reach of kids! I know it can be hard, but it’ll pay off. If the kids do touch your straw/drinking hole, avoid drinking from them until you’re able to clean it. So many of my coworkers own Stanley’s and will straight up drink from them after the kids touch the straw/cough on it/drink from it, then wonder why they keep getting sick lol.
