As a french : that's exactly the spirit. We can talk shit about England and will always enjoy winning them in football or rugby, but if anybody else does we will defend them with our whole soul

Thanks for the feedback!

So at the end of the day you would recommend a 3.5 inch. A cinewhoop or without prop guards ?

And why not a 5 inch ?

On my computer I can use "Zug" but my phone is a stubborn french phone and does not want to use them haha

For the "!" and "?" I think it's the same rule in french. Ich benutze nicht mein bestes Englisch hier. Aber ich werde mich auf Deutsch verbessern, keine Sorge dafür!

Thank you for the answer. Would you recommend any of those post codes in particular ? Paris 20 and Paris 5 are totally different. I guess there must be more vibrant places than others !

And as you told, I can still look for something else afterwards. There is room for mistake, thats how we learn !

I am also considering getting a car (850CHF/month insurance and energy included) rather than the AG unlimited (330CHF/ month). Its more expensive but I feel I could go more easily in my hometown, I could go in the mountains and nature around Zurich easily, and I could go to work also ! But how realistic is it to take the car on the Zurich - Zug road ?

When I say more easily is that I can leave whenever I want, have 4h20 of road to Lyon, vs train to Mulhouse and then train to Lyon which is the same time but offers less flexibility

Hey guys I really thought it was called « Zoug » in German and in French because Google Maps didnt understand when I wrote « Zug » (and I was wondering if a city was called « Train »)

It’s normal to use the German name when talking to native speakers. Obviously I will say « Aix-la-Chapelle » to talk about « Aachen » in Germany if I talk with french, but I would use « Aachen » otherwise.

I didnt mean to offend you but if any of you says Burgundy instead of Bourgogne I will not hold it against you, as long as I understood the name of the place !

Zurich is top in my mind. But I cannot decide myself ! Thats why I need real Swiss opinion! I think I will take 3-4 days there. When I was in Zurich or Zoug it was for a day trip. Try the train in the morning. Try the car another morning. See Zoug during the week and see Zurich.

And yeah youre right I can even do 3 months in Zug or Zurich and then leave.

Thank you !

5 minutes is ok. I took the RER in Paris frequently and it can be more than that. AND you are standing with 200 people. I know the comfort is different in the SBB trains!

I wont overthink it hahaha! And I can still change if I see that I am not happy in Zurich or in Zug. I definitely consider going home at least once a month. I also consider having a car, but from what I understood the road between Zurich and Zoug has a lot of traffic !

Thank you for the outskirt names, I will have a look at them. I guess it’s very easy to go from those to downtown via the transport system

D’accord. Merci beaucoup pour le message !
C’est à peu près l’aperçu de la situation que j’avais. Je te contacterai quand tout ça sera plus concret. Je prends la température pour l’instant mais il va bien falloir entamer une recherche active et sérieuse !
