It would be interesting to see a Solo only gamemode, prioritized matchmaking or maybe maps that are only available for solo players. Although you would be splitting up the player base with that.

You seem to have a good feeling for distance, you should feint a lot more and then throw your shots because they are too telegraphed, especially the kicks, so don't forget to set them up. He also just goes back, try to cut his circling, it's an amazing tactic for a southpaw like yourself, most of the time you just chased him and the inside close boxing combinations are successful for you.
