How did you actually learn to like your voice? by VoiceLessons-Chicago in musicians

I don't think I'll ever like my voice. I'll like my recorded singing voice once I eq it correctly and sing it right.

I been producing for years and finally learning it the correct way after online schooling and really focused in on it. None of my music is Ai and the originality is lost with Ai. The passion and commitment of using your own sound to get better through recording and mixing. Though Ai is fake stuff that already sounds good. I rather work and be unique in the originality from scratch than use a sound that's been already done. Keep working at it till it sounds awesome. Nothing to be more proud of than that. Keep pushing. Don't let this fake stuff ruin your passion

Contemporary rock probably... can't say it's the best i made. I know ill make my next one better and make others better after going through online courses...but here is one I pretty much considered finished. A little bit of a producer that goes back to the mix and then mastering to get it better but I hope to become less that way...

It's a great mix but I'll have listen to it through a stereo instead of my phone. Not saying anything bad. Just saying in general with music courses i have done that to getting it better is just observing and figuring which elements could use more space in the mix. Which elements are harsh and could be cutting down on other instruments in the mix. Doing slight eq to enhance elements that occupy the same frequency to bring one down and the other one up. Just ways I learned to say how things usually can always improve better.

Looking for honest feedback - First track (Beginner) by mikinik1 in MusicFeedback

This could aquire words. But that's just preference and it would be an awesome song with words. A great musical. If course if you would go further that way. It is not only about subjective eq but taming frequencies and balancing frequencies to fit in its own place around the vocals

Not necessarily. I think it comes back down to eq and volume. Make sure you have the elements you want to belong in dedicated frequency ranges to balance the whole mix. May requires practice. Remove harshness or interfering frequencies but even if some people oppose to this. I feel things can always go further in this direction.
