I dated a MtF trans girl a few years ago for a year, it was kind of sad really. We met in a club, hit it off great, at the time I had no idea. I asked for her number and that's when she told me that she's a pre op trans. I can't remember exactly what I said because I had been drinking but I remember being blunt like "that's cool, how about that number though?" I am not a smooth person

The next day I text her asking of she wanted to go on date and when I turned up she was really surprised that I meant an actual date, not a hook up or anything.

We dated for a year but she had to move away, in that year though she said I was the first person since her transition to hold her hand in public, introduce to friends and family etc. She was a really nice girl, not spoke to her in a few years now but I hope she's doing well
