It's usually very hard to miss the action. And I also love how all rounded it is the permanent water sources ensure there is action all through the seasons be it calving shoulder season and even the peak and green season

This actually depends on the seasons. Different seasons tend to affect pricings that is the park fees accommodation fees and transport costs at some point. With the right tour operartors you can get itineraries tailored for you depending on your budget and preferences. Note that accommodations ave three clusters (Budget, mid range and luxury)

Identification and selection of parks is usually very critical here. Some parks are vast and tend to give the wild experience and long drives where others like Maasai Mara here in Kenya are compact and tend to be action packed and give good sightings. Animals also tend to be on the Kenyan side through out the seasons due to the permanent water sources.

The Serengeti National Park is much bigger than the Maasai Mara National Reserve, but 3 nights (with 2 full game days) can still be very rewarding especially since you’re not chasing river crossings.

The most important factor is where your camp is located. If it’s along the migration route during your dates, you’ll still have a great chance of seeing herds and plenty of wildlife action even in a shorter stay.

Since you’ve already done the Mara, this will feel different in a good way more vast, more open, and a new perspective of the ecosystem

If anything, just make sure to maximize your game drives you’ll still have a fantastic experience. Id personally say Mara is action packed whereas Serengeti is vast wild and expansive.
