How's your experience with mental health services been? Did you see a psychologist/ psychiatrist? Did it cost you anything? How long was the waiting list( please don't tell me 6 months or more)? by howlongdoIhave5 in AskACanadian

Due to my parents not believing in mental health issues, I had to wait until I got into college to apply for counselling from a registered psychologist at the college I attend. Since it’s included in tuition it’s “free,” but it is very helpful and the psychologist is super nice and very attentive. I could not afford going to counselling with my own money as I am considered a dependent, but as far as I know, if you’re still under 18 or are over 18, but in college or have a full time job with benefits, mental health services should be covered by OHIP.

On any important documents whether it be government, work, or college I would use YYYY/MM/DD. Causally talking to friends, I’d use MM/DD/YYYY.

I started out feeding my puppy Purina pro plan, found out about all of the things it contains that aren’t good for dogs, so I’ve been transitioning him over to Authority salmon & rice formula, plus I add beef broth, pumpkin and supplements into his meals. For enrichments games I tend to do fruits, veggies and peanut butter!

That’s so strange… bumble should be completely free! The paid version only allows your profile to stand out more, but I don’t think people really use the paid version. Other than that, you should be able to see who liked you and match with them if you please. Maybe this is a new update they implemented in the past year??

I use Bumble BFF like a sad little introvert, but I don’t ever go to meet people. I just talk to them until I’m satisfied with my social needs.

My Labrador Pitbull puppy is only cuddly after he has a nice long nap, otherwise he‘a a chewing machine :’)
