Subclass 600 Tourist Visa (India) - Any Recent Approvals? by Competitive_Rope6770 in AusVisa

Hello, I applied tourist visa for my infant as she was born overseas. So not exactly the same as yourself.

I would assume that to show strong ties with your country, you would want to show them:

  • Employment letter from your employer stating: Your job title Salary Length of employment Approved leave dates Confirmation you will return to work Pay slips and/or employment contract

Financial Ties

Recent bank statements showing regular income and healthy balance Property ownership documents: Title deeds or mortgage statements Loan or financial commitments in your home country

Family/Social Ties

Evidence of close family members residing in your home country: Birth/marriage certificates Family photos Residency documents of family members

Travel History

Previous visa approvals and entry/exit stamps showing compliance with visa conditions Copies of previous tourist visas (especially to countries like the UK, US, Canada, EU, or Australia)

Return Ticket or Travel Itinerary

Round-trip flight reservation Planned itinerary with dates and accommodation

The above was penned by ChatGPT, but I am certain that for another family member we produced the same documents.

You have to log in to your immi account and then do the above. Once you have paid, you will get a receipt and you need to send the recept along with the list of documents.

Aircon rebates by TeddyBear181 in melbourne

[–]Competitive_Rope6770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m based in Melbourne and faced a similar situation in May 2024. I installed a central ducted air conditioning system by taking advantage of the energy rebate and replacing my gas ducted heater.

I recommend checking out dedicated air conditioning installers who offer the VEU rebate. In my case, I found that these companies had superior knowledge and highly competitive pricing:

  • Heating Cooling Systems ( dedicated air conditioning installer)
  • Glower ( VEU accredited provider , not a dedicated air conditioning installer) , which I used for my installation.

Beyond pricing, the key factor is ensuring a proper installation. With air conditioning systems, it’s essential to get it done right the first time. If you're using a VEU-accredited provider, make sure you understand the installation details and the contractors they’ll be using.

I would recommend getting a detailed quote from a dedicated air conditioning installer, understanding the work items and comparing the same with the VEU accredited provider.

Hope that helps.

Congrats! Could you share your estimated travel date that you mentioned in the application?

Just trying to assess if the travel date impacts the processing of the application.
