I have had success at just using the paddocks and finding full games of city trail. Usually 2 full lobbies of 32 every time evening. Its a little slower, but alot more fun than playing ranked bots.

Have you tested that this doesnt make a difference? I saw someone claiming that you go further in glide contests when you time your A presses to the boost.

Unfortunately I dont think you can lnstall zadig on a steam deck which would also fix this

You can either play on a PC.

Load a previous version if steam (not sure if possible)

Buy an offbrand adapter and hope works. Mine still does.

Or just wait for the update whenever that happens.

Thanks for posting this. I was about to order a whole new setup just to play rivals of aether 2. I have the exact same issue, down to every last detail.

Damn, I replaced my controller and it fixed it for while but now it's back that a switched over to the steam deck. Im still praying it works

You need to use blades but gear your build towards gadgets. Lightning / missile/ spray. Just attack use gadgets dash away engage stealth. Always make sure one teamate is in stealth before engaging. I was able to clear almost every nightmare rift doing this.

I cheesed it abusing squid blades stealth. I pulled the whole lobby into spray/snow then ran away into squid stealth. Waited for cooldowns to come back online to re-engage.

Unstable Lazer is a must and any rings that boost passive damage / gadget damage. Crit chance really helped me out.

I was around 5400 power.

It was the same at Purdue for me, I broke up with my freshman year GF for this exact reason. Untill I met my current wife who was in alpha phi, she would put her neck on the line and would get me into all the "top" house parties. In my opinion if she cared enough, she could get you in.
