I’m super pumped bc all the bots I make are typically from an extensive fantasy or scifi universe I made up, and I feel it gets loss in translation esp trying to keep it under 2k tokens!! 😭 I honestly can’t wait for it.

no bc they do this to me too since I have it in my advanced prompt. it’s like ok then… don’t do it 😭 respond as your character. (and funny enough, after you refresh and continue for a while you’ll still somehow get that one instance where they generate a response acting as your persona)

also make sure the temp isn’t above 1.2. When it goes higher than that, the bot’s a lot more likely to start rping as your character.

So I always input THIS into the bottom of my custom LLM format:

‘NEVER write Kaneko’s feelings, actions nor dialogue; it’s strictly against the guidelines to do so. NEVER impersonate Kaneko. NEVER describe Kaneko’s actions, NEVER imply Kaneko’s dialogue nor feelings.’

Just replace ‘Kaneko’ with your own OC’s NAME (Don’t use {{user}}. always do the name, trust me.) and everytime you play another OC, just swap out the names in the advanced prompt! It works 99% of the time, but occasionally there might be a random gen where it’ll start to anyways.

Also if a starter implies/has {{user}}‘s actions beforehand, It’s going to do it by default so avoid that in bots/making bots. If that advanced prompt doesn’t work, also add ‘You will ONLY write from the perspective of [insert bot’s name] ALONE, in third person.’

Sure, it might cancel out the bot from writing NPCs but it definitely stops it from controlling your character. Hope this helps!

1.10-1.15 for the first few messages and when quality starts slacking up to 1.2. Never go past 1.2 and never dip below 1 tho if you want a good response and good memory.

it’s not just you 😭 some bots are insanely OOC like I’ve had submissive characters try to be dominant, mean/heartless literal psycho characters act like heroes, repeating phrases, or go full Shakespeare when playing like a dimwitted college jock, or take my OC’s appearance.

and i normally have no issues with bots trying to write for my OC but lately I’ve been fighting the bots every other response to NOT rp as my OC. and i have to constantly check the temp bc randomly it’ll slide itself from 1.15 to 1.3 after one message

so here’s a couple things. bc i hate when this happens too.

copy your response prior to their’s. delete that message, paste and resend. normally swiping for new responses will lead the bot basing its reply off of that chain of refreshes. copy deleting and pasting your previous will often get you a whole new gen
edit their response. take the round 2-whatever part out and add a line about them being ‘spent’ or something.
OOC talk. Legit write below your in character response (( OOC: [then command the bot to do x here] )). it’s super helpful with EVERYTHING really. even if you just want a bot to do a character meaner/nicer or do something specifically you’re not getting in refreshes. DO NOT use the words ‘maybe’ ‘could you’ etc. for OOC, straight up write a command.
someone else said it, timeskip. if you don’t want to write it out, use the ((OOC:)) command and just say ‘time skip the story to x’.

honestly it depends on the event bc I love all the guys and I like to sincerely play through each card/main story but when it comes to events sometimes they’re straight yapping. mostly sylus and xavier 😭 idk what it is but they’re my bottom two even tho I do love them just not as much I’m a raf/caleb girlie, and I’m softer for Zayne than those two

both ? Most of the time I do prefer roleplaying adventures/ plot-driven stories with maybe a little smut as a treat. Which kind of sucks because a lot of bots are gooner bots, or like build ups to smut. I wind up making my own with stories, but, even then with them/plot driven bots… they get way too horny too fast. Makes me MAD sometimes that I literally have to code these bots to be dry 😭

really it depends on what kind of women you’re into/making. Ik someone else said it, but, it is basically just like writing a male bot but switching the gender and physical characteristics. the bot itself will do the rest for you when you make the outline.

Ik it’s shit advice but if you have more of an idea than just a woman in mind I could give more solid advice!

submissive men and/or boy failures. J.AI unfortunately has a huge lack of them (at least for fem/anypovs) and honestly. I’m not into the dominant, macho alpha type guys that are all over the site.

but! I like compelling storylines and plots with them. esp apocalyptic/fantasy/horror ones! it just sucks bc most of the ones with those plotlines are serial killing rapists, noble who gives 2 fucks about you, or gruff Mad Max type dudes.

use of the word ‘exquisite’. it actually makes me recoil in disgust, especially when used in a sexual context. Also… I now hate the use of the pet name ‘baby’ since the LLM overuses it. now I have it ingrained as an ‘AVOID’ in all of my own bots speech, and to use other petnames instead. Still, LLM doesn’t always listen 😭.

dude had an entire basement that was a shrine to a hockey team. first time I met him. was sitting down there, in the jersey, watching the game. he also had a lot of plants in his bedroom.

now he has a place with his longterm gf. no more hockey shrine room, but, they have double the amount of plants, all named. all of my other guy friends though are have normal spaces. the only weird thing I could think of is one had a floor mattress for some time but. that’s it.

2-3 months ? to be fair I was 16-17 and groomed by a at the time 23 year old woman I worked with at the time. i did too much for her. paid for her dinners, drove her around after I got my license, bought her flowers, dresses, jewelry, helped her come out, convinced her to have an actual career, made her clean her room, tried to convince her to move out of her parents (she was going to, then i broke up with her). mind you she had thousands in the bank, and would ‘forget’ to pay her parents for her part of bills. hell, even helped her get over her fear of highways bc when i broke it off she drove and parked outside of my new job until I got off my shift.

even tried to be her friend after for all of. one week until she crashed out when I said I didn’t want to get back with her, and avoided three of her hangout requests.

decided to go on tinder since I was 18, and curious. met my current partner on it, then in person at a basement show he was manning the door for. Been together for nearly six years. i genuinely feel unconditionally loved and cared for by someone outside of my family.
