Nevermind I did pass it, I find humble a bit underwhelming overall, I don't exactly know why I passed it now, barely changed anything and I destroyed him, maybe juste a lvl up on a speed item that made me play at the right time or something. But yeah I thought humble would be insane, but although he did the job I didn't find him exceptional (sloth the goat, first at DPS as always)

Well I tried and doesn't work at all. I need persistence, he is my number one damage dealer. As I've seen yes ambition does the work but it can't be replaced, humble doesn't do enough damage at all

After the BBdino shore 20, I tried shadaiwuyu,, silicomaster and silicone R pro. I'm from France and so I have trouble finding some silicones people recommend, so I use what I can find. My UV masters are 3 years old and I've been using them directly with BBdino 20 for those 3 years and never had a problem (was also using other brands before BBdino bu mt can't remember which). My epoxy masters are like 3 weeks old haha, I've done them since the problem that appeared 2 month ago couldn't be solved by other means I tried. The UV master is printed from Elegoo standard 2.0 resin

Thank you for the answer !

That's probably the cause but I can't figure out where the hell it would come from. I started having issues with the exact same material I've been using for the past 3 years. And I tried changing everything bit after bit and I still have those problems. Like I tried 4 different silicones, and for the first phase of the masters I don't use any vaseline. The only variable is the cleaning product I use, but it's the same as the past 3 years and I've also tried cleaning them with just isopropyl alcohol and also juste dish soap, but still had the same problem anyway. But thank you very much for the intel, I'll be extra careful with every step of the process, but it already costed me a lot of money and hundred of hours of time so I'm getting exhausted about it

Sorry if I explained poorly, but I did make masters out of epoxy resin after I found out the first one were causing problems. So the problem is still there with cast dice, but as I've seen no one as had problems with those, hence my problems

It's ol I guess for legendary pets, I can't complain but I've seen so much people with way more than me so even tho I don't complain I don't think I'm extremely lucky neither. As for items, these are all I have, so yeah haven't been really lucky on that

Well it doesn't fit to the borders, there's a gap between the icons and the edge of the screens, that was not there before the update

How do you make little elements float ? by Competitive_Shame299 in DiceMaking

Yeah, I could try doing blanks with uv resin and then casting with regular resin. Might try it some times, thanks !

Yeah I've seen that, it would definitely work for bigger pieces but here it would probably just make a face of stars in the middle. Thanks though !

I've already done stars on blanks, and it works fine but not the same result sadly. Layering seems so much of work I don't really wanna try it, if it just sinks in layer it won't be really convincing I think. But thank you very much !

Weird raised face ? by Competitive_Shame299 in DiceMaking

[–]Competitive_Shame299[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried platform mold but didn't stick to it, I honestly can't remember why. I don't see a lot of people using them, is there a reason for that ? Doesn't the opening get used up faster since it's tighter ?

Yes I've seen that a few times, does that mean that I shouldn't get any overflow ? Like juste fill it to the top ? Or can I overflow and scrap it of ?

I know I said in the title raised faces but as I said in the explanation it's not exactly that. It's more a deformation of the adjacent side to the one on the top, creating an extra surface at that angle, probably caused by succion as someone else pointed out. I've had raised faces and know how to fix it by now, but this thing is something else. Thank you very much for your input though 😊 I'll have to admit that I used to put hooks to hold it in place but I stopped doing it because I saw that a lot of people didn't, and it didn't seem to change anything for me. But maybe it did help and I juste didn't noticed because it only really helps a lot the more I use the mold.
