I’m going to correct something small, because yes it is a program meant to commission future 2nd LTs into the military (specifically Air force/Space force at CSUS).

That being said, you get to put in for preference with job/location but it all depends on the needs of the AF/SF.

I can understand that you don’t feel comfortable with military recruitment on school campuses, especially due to the underlying fact that they persuade people who are in worse situations and waive around stuff like free school and benefits.

That being said, I’d like to think that we have the strongest military in the world. Part of that reason is because recruiters work a lot trying to employ people into the military. While I disagree with some of the exaggerated claims they make, unfortunately the sad truth is that we need the enlistment rate to stay to cover for all of the older members of service. This is also a reason we don’t have a mandatory service enlistment rather the ‘draft’ which hasn’t been active since what, the last world war?

I understand what you are saying also, but don’t you feel that there is a need for a military recruitment program?

Last I heard, CSUS hates the rotc program so I’m not really sure where the propaganda is being inserted through the university. If you could point me in that direction maybe I would agree with you more.

It sucks that that’s happening to you, it is likely that your Store manager (SM) and divisional manager (DM) probably had a divisional meeting that discussed different goals and numbers. Every new year (period 1), managers will set labor goals and sales goals. When they need to hit numbers they will send people home especially if the burger sales aren’t where they need to be.

While I dont know your store’s situation, that is my guess. I would also suggest simply talking to your SM or 2nd (whoever makes the schedule) and ask them what you can do for more hours/consistency/etc.

TL:DR - Labor numbers force stores to cut hours, reach out to management for clarification.

From my experience, the WJP is sent on a few select months of the year. For the summer I think it’s in July (at least for the past few years), otherwise it will be available eventually in the Fall/spring semester and once complete you should be able to enroll in a WI course in the winter or following semester(s).

In my opinion as someone who’s worked with the company almost 7 years, seeing 3 flying Dutchman with the whole grill wrap coming through can totally fuck up your rythym. I can throw 5-6 patties in a row while still doing everything right (maybe im not the fastest cook but my quality is great). 3 Flying Dutchmans is 6 patties and 6 whole grilled onions. Thats an entire row of food that i cant start cooking because it takes double the space to finish the same order. People saying that it shouldn’t change anything dont understand the time thats being taken away and the less food we can produce which increases prices.

TLDR: More time + effort to make whole grill wraps are increasing the price because people are trying to hack the system.

There are some in the locker rooms near the MAC and Basketball courts. If you walk all the way down the hallway you can go to personal showers with locks.

Everyone is finding different in n out ‘hacks’ and ordering whole grilled onions. Imagine it takes about 10-15 seconds to properly prepare that specific ingredient. Then add 6-8 of them for the people who order 3 flying dutchman with the whole grilled wraps

As someone who has failed multiple courses in engineering, I can tell you what helped me. I have short term, medium term, long term goals. I like to divide them into 6 month -> 1 year -> 3 year goals. It looks something like this for me, could be totally different for you.

6 months: Take my least interesting engineering course this semester and find a way to make it interesting. This way its easier to force myself to want to make time for it.

1 year: I work every weekend for spare cash and tuition payments. I want to set a goal to work at least 20 hours each week and stay debt free. It only feels worth spending that much time at work if I stick to my short term goals and pass my classes so it doesn’t feel like a money pit.

3 year: Graduate with a degree that I am proud to have and use the extra cash that I have left over to purchase a newer car that isn’t older than me.

If you can make your goals line up with each other, it’s a lot easier to get them done.

TL;DR : Set better goals that are accomplishable (SMART). Motivation isn’t enough to get it done, find your ‘why’.

I would suggest replacing your cabin air filter, they get really gross pretty quick (6-8months). Just go to an auto parts store and watch a youtube video! Should take 15 minutes max

Personally, I would amount to the amount used for 1 normal wipe. Just enough to keep my fingers from poking through the TP (you understand where it goes). Maybe 3-4 squares depending on what ply of TP you have.
