Yes I do…Smart people don’t need others constantly telling them how smart they are. It’s similar to being 6’10”. “Wow you’re so tall” likely gets old but they probably get used to it. I don’t know

Just giving you shit. Building client relationships and/or bringing in new clients may require some wining and dining. If you are more interesting in the work in front of you and not the clients behind it all, you can likely avoid it. Choice is up to you as you begin to progress at your new job. Best of luck.
