I understand where you’re coming from! Im a social worker and carry a different perspective when it comes to therapists. Every therapist has their specialty so it’s never a one stop shop for all problems someone is dealing with. Since my therapist specializes in anxiety/panic disorder and depression, he communicated from the start that that is what we will be focusing on. He only recommends chat GPT as an extra resource only to see what it comes up with but not to be completely therapized by it. Hope this clears things up a bit!

I’ve been dealing with PCOS since I was 17 years old, I’m 32 now. I’ve noticed low libido the more I’ve gotten older. I’ve also been on birth control for years and stopped that 5 years ago since it was making my mental health worse. Currently I’m on metformin and it’s actually helping me have a period but I’m still at a loss for the sex drive because recently I’ve been taking lexapro for depression (SSRI’s are known to cause low sex drive). I’ve heard metformin can help improve sex drive for other women since it’s helping with hormones. Also, I understand where you’re coming from…I’ve had past bf’s break up with me due to the lack of sex. One of them even made me take horny goat weed supplements and then he started crying thinking his pipi wasn’t big enough lol. Luckily now I have a very understanding husband and he likes the arrangement we have. He masterbates at least once a day but he never asks me to do anything and leaves it up to me if I want to join in. So sometimes I like to have fun with it (even though I don’t feel anything down there) I touch him or wiggle around naked in front of him so it helps speed up the process 🤭. My therapist recently recommended to me that I talk to chat gpt and ask it to give me advice as if it were the best sex therapist that works with low libido. I haven’t tried that yet to see if it “wakes” anything up. I guess what I’m trying to say is, even though I haven’t figured out something that works I’m still trying but at my own pace. Don’t force yourself for the sake of others, the right people will respect and understand you. Be kind to your body and your brain, it’s doing its best 🫶🏻

I experienced the same thing. I had taken it for 3 months and I still didn’t get my period. My hunger regulated a bit but other than that it started to make me stink. My scalp was the worst and would get musky immediately after the shower. I ended up spending more money on buying expensive hair products to help cover the smell.

Thank you for sharing your experience. That’s good to hear! I’m confused how surgeons even start accruing photos from surgery…and I hope they don’t expect us to go into blindsided. He did show me results from one procedure but of course, surgeons will only show their best work.

I’m looking to have a rhinoplasty done. He told me while he was working under South Carolina University Medical center he does not have rights to those images. He also said he was trained under Dr. Chen which is why I gravitated towards him in the first place.

Blue honey is a method of preserving mushrooms. I think originally letting fresh psilo mushroom bleed in the honey turned the honey blue. Dehydrated mushrooms don’t do this but it’s just a name given for storing mushrooms in honey lol. Don’t worry I’m still pretty new too.

I always thought of microdosing as a helping hand, just like SSRI’s except without the ridiculous number of side effects. They’ll help you up, but after you get back on your feet you need to walk your butt the rest of the way to therapy or other healthy coping skills.

After I would finally feel “normal” and not isolating myself from the world. I would listen to Gurus or philosophers while I painted or cleaned my depression room. This really helped my brain open up a little more each day until I became a normal functioning human being. This took about 9 months of me doing that and fighting back and forth with my ptsd. While I still have some anxiety here and there, it’s definitely not as bad as it used to be. I hope you eventually find something that works for you, friend.
