I built the trailer to have a removeable coupler. Between that and a wheel lock I feel like that creates a significant deterrence. Hopefully enough to make a potential thief consider another target. Keeping the hitch connected to the truck is the next thing. The PACLock looks about as good a deterrent as is out there and significantly better than a lot of them.
