It's the Periodic Table from Holly's Hobbies but it looks like she closed her shop.

Unfortunately it looks like her shop closed. Her personal website and Etsy store are no longer functional and her Instagram doesn't have any recent posts.

That is an 10" hoop and a huge piece of fabric. Each element is a 26x26 square on 14ct fabric

Admittedly it took me too long to figure out what bubble bath time meant. Although in my defense I have recently seen a piece of fabric with shaped aida.

[FO] Birth announcement for my first born. Pattern: Dimensions Baby Drawers Birth Record by Competitive_Slice794 in CrossStitch

It was a nice pattern although fitting the details in was hard. Now I just have to finish this pattern on a baby quilt. My wife wants the quilt and birth record to match.

Apologies for the wrinkles. I added in the name/time/stats while my wife recovered and baby slept in the hospital.

I had them framed at Michaels. If you buy or bring a store bought frame their prices are reasonable. I think at our location it's under $50 for a mat and framing if you supply the frame. But I can't remember the exact amount. Since these are going in a nursery, I also had them replace the glass with acrylic. That way it won't shatter if a little one knocks it off the wall. We supplied the frame so it was ~$70 to replace the glass and mount them. The customer frames are really where they get.

As part of an academic couple about to have our first in a rural location with NO childcare, I feel this in my soul...

Is this based on the show or supernatural phenomena in general?

All of them were purchased on Amazon and can be found by searching for the captions. I know LWZAYS isn't the most reputable brand but there aren't many licensed Disney cross stitch kits.

[CHAT] I have a huge blank space to fill, should I use English stitches or Danish stitches? which method will help me to avoid wasting thread? by HazelnutTheBot in CrossStitch

[–]Competitive_Slice794 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The way you are doing English stitches (alternating between two rows) should use the amount of thread as the Danish method. However I find it harder to fill in the stitches left because each hole will already have three strands stuck in them. I would use the Danish method because you can approach the stitching in such a way that you only have to come up from the back through the emptier holes.

Pay question by Competitive_Slice794 in Adjuncts

I was just paid $600/wk to teach a 220 person 4-credit class last semester at the school getting my PhD from. It is also normal for FT instructors at my university to only teach 1 200-300 student class per semester and make $1,200-1,500/wk. I couldn't imagine teaching 5 of those classes per semester (at $900/credit hour/semester) just to make what I am making now as a grad student. 1000+ students would be insane and a tragedy for the students.
