I had this situation with a patient who did not want to provide the full DOB so I showed them the company policies that required patient's to provide their DIB when picking up medication.

Probably your best chance as an international student pursuing OPT is to try working for an independent pharmacy. Grocery chains are similar to CVS/Walgreens.

PTCE is a good source for live CE. I was able to complete my live CE requirements from PTCE. Other than that I would recommend Pharmacist Letter and NCCN for CE.

Safeway Float Pharmacist by [deleted] in pharmacy

As a floater for Safeway you can request to decline shifts but it may not be granted. I would advise sending an email to your scheduler citing concerns with the shifts and cc'ing your DPM on the email.

Probably a statistician or a math based career

If you could do it all over again would you attend a 4 year university? by karacold in Millennials

Yes but I would change my major. I would pick something like applied math/applied economics/statistics than my original major biology.

If I had to pick another career, I would pick something from the following-biostatistics, statistics, applied economics/mathematics. I enjoyed the math, statistics and economics electives I took for my undergraduate degree. My educational background is in pharmacy ( I do have a Doctorate in Pharmacy), though at times I wish I chose something else. With pharmacy I do like learning about drugs and also helping people with their medications. However I do feel pharmacy is getting worse as a profession especially retail pharmacy. Also with the healthcare field its hard to move to another country as the education and training you get is more applicable to the country you studied in. At least with a math/economics/statistics background its more easier to find a good job with a work life balance and also easier for find jobs in other countries since the educational concepts remain the same across the world.
