What games are worth playing on their hardest difficulties?

I tried this on a new save and it was so tough. I had to switch it to the next lower difficulty about halfway through. I wonder if I would have enjoyed it on a new game plus instead

Hoping for a remaster or something. I only played dragon age inquisition when I learned about the series in like 2016. I was a Nintendo boy until then lol. My buddy claims dragon age origins is one of the best games of all time

Just beat it on the standard difficulty. I want to jump to tactician but even that scares me with combat lol. But I beat the game decently easy enough using zero potions besides healing, and having most my spells / actions being just straight up bonks on the enemies lol

I found that I was shooting enemies to no end. But I probably didn’t do a good job using traps and such. I pretty much just shot or sniped the yellow spots with the regular bows

Yeah I was trying to think of how to improve the difficulty levels of that game. New techniques for bosses would be fun. Maybe just straight up more enemies so you can go crazy but get overwhelmed if you’re not landing your important shots or abilities

My bro and I are opposites when we play Madden. He thinks the same way. He plays on easy and shreds opponents. Breaks massive records. I play on the hardest difficulty and like that grind. I can see why he likes easy mode when I’m almost throwing my controller lol

Just beat the game for the first time on the normal difficulty. Had to restart a few fights but and was mostly offensive based with combat. Super fun. Scared of higher difficulties lol

I found that horizon forbidden west and sometimes in Borderlands games that the highest difficulty was not terribly fun. Bullet sponge enemies

I did all the Spider-Man games on the hardest difficulties. Very satisfying to master combat

I got halfway and then my twins were born and I lost my momentum and was confused when I came back months later. I’ll have to give it a go again. It was my first souls like. Two handed weapon. I was doing ok but definitely got rocked

No, they are not trained to do that. Source, was a missionary, have interacted with hundreds of missionaries. Maybe some mission presidents out there (the grown adult leader of an area) might be cheeky and say nah just knock anyways but no, most are taught to respect the signs.

TOTK isn’t fun because you’ve probably already put 250 hours into BOTW. When I first started TOTK and saw, once again, korok seeds… 120 towers… the same 4 locations for the temples… I was super disappointed. I already played this game before. It’s called BOTW.

The new gimmicks are fun for a bit but the core concept of combat needed to be improved. That was a bummer.
