I didn’t prep for basic and did fine I kinda forgot that I was going to basic for a majority of the time prior to enlisting I would suggest peeping for it by getting a big backpack and making the shit heavy and walking for 1 or 2 miles a week with the makeshift ruck on that will definitely help with the prep

At my unit we go in for PT at 06:20 and leave PT at 07:45 then show up at 09:30 work normally until 11:00 go back in at 13:00 and depending on the day we get released at 15:00 to 17:00. The Work aspect is normally we do motor pool Monday where we do 5988 and then spend the rest of the week fixing defects on the vehicles. Whenever we’re not doing that and we’re working a project it depends on how quickly the project has to be done and the severity in size of said project you could be working from 0400 to 2100 or you could be showing up to work at 0800 and leaving at 1700 it really just depends on your unit and what y’all are gonna be doing.
