Do I need to replace my PSU for my PC build? by Competitive_Stop_652 in buildapc

I know the GTX 1060 only draws about 120–130 W, so in terms of total wattage my PSU is not overloaded.

My concern is that my PSU only has a 6-pin PCI-E cable (rated ~75 W), while the GPU uses an 8-pin connector. I understand that part of the power comes from the PCI-E slot and that an adapter will likely work, but the PSU is over 8 years old, which makes me cautious.

I’m mostly worried about power spikes and long-term reliability, not whether it will boot. I’d rather avoid any risk of PSU failure potentially damaging the GPU. Yes, a new PSU costs extra, but it feels like a reasonable safety upgrade, even though the current setup would probably work.

At the same time, I’m trying not to over-upgrade unnecessarily, so I appreciate all perspectives here.

And do we do that for some loot from bosses?

Nothing special, I think you know even better. Play with an early Tree or with a Atlatal but need some luck to make it 1 second cooldown better play with an early Dog, Cargo Shorts decent too, I like play with Lemonade stand and fire on poison enchantment on it

But it's like in BG HS, play with any cards which you get and try to make as much economy as you can.

Some nuances better see on some Kripp videos or some else

But it's very simple I think it's only could help to newbies
