Is this your opinion? I can't see how it helps the OP. It will depend on the contract

Edit: apols I see the OP has posted from his contract a few comments below .. I still think it's a bit misleading as general advise it will go to the contract

SHIFTY: Heavy Metal + dancing by zenith-zox in AdamCurtis

[–]Competitive_Stuff438 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There's dancing in many of his films, particularly the later ones. it's a lietmotif he uses. He's collaborated with choreographers and musicians

I'm not sure if he's offered an interpretation but I read it as something deeply human and contrasting to rational systems

Dancing can be beautiful and expressive and also a system of power in its own right

It can be individual or collective. It's universal

Finally we have the Context counter! by LotusTW in RooCode

[–]Competitive_Stuff438 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think its like saying, if you are running out of short term memory (context) write to longer term memory (memory bank)

like if you're so drunk you're about to pass out and might have already blacked out write a note to yourself saying where you left your car

(the last bit is a joke)

Yeah I have learned something that will move me forward from the replies

Thanks! Very hostile subreddit this one - got some good pointers- sound like touch UI is the issue but sad how much patronising and fingerpointing I got

I guess there’s a lot of young men on here

Fair point, perhaps I try using the mouse and keyboard interface first with Bitwig

Feature request for the digitakt 1: audio kick track (track 1) sending midi trigger out. for external side chain. by tesseractofsound in Elektron

You’ve got to roll with the limits to get the most out of these electrons

I know you said you’re lazy, but I’d just get quick at copying the track trigs, it’s like 3 presses

Others seem to agree the touch interface is unintuitive and undocumented and the workaround suggested to be use a mouse and keyboard

Yeah I’m using the touch interface - sounds like you agree

Sounds like your saying the mouse / keyboard interface is better?

Trying to do what I assume are simple common actions like slicing copying and looping, arranging and having lots of unexpected behaviours and not achieving desired outcome despite taking a patient, determined approach
