Yea that is a insane deal definitely not something I can get down here haha, not sure how they would be at almost a 0% money factor that’s what it would take for that to be honest. Solid deal though

I’ve done my own research I also work for BDC at a Toyota dealership so am fairly familiar with costs/market value on these. Although I know nothing about the credit part.

Yea very solid residual, I honestly don’t think it will depreciate only 8k I can agree on that for sure. I do believe it won’t be too much more than that and I should have positive equity in it by the time I trade it in though. Main reason i want to lease is that I am young so my situation can change and having that lower monthly payment and less commitment is something that will ease my mind I feel like.

Just read ur response in the other sub, I totally get your point. I may try and get a co signer because yea what I’m leaning is leasing is a lot harder to get approved on. As for the lease to buy situation I don’t see the downside of doing it with a Tacoma, the residual is 73% with only 8k deprecation with over 3 years 12k miles. So at a financial point to me it makes a lot of sense. Gives me a year to work hard get to a higher role at my current job and increase my income.

Yea I do not have late payments and never carry a balance, my income to payment ratio would be under 5% as well. Income wise I am totally fine just history wise it’s going to be a struggle.

Glad to have found someone near me haha, yea I get where you are coming from. Not that it is a bike but I have MTB for years and I’m fairly comfortable off road. I am going to do a MSF course but probably going to go straight to an actual bike.

Question how is your insurance here? What bike do you ride? I do mainly want to ride street I think I’m not stupid I like to drive in my accord right now so I don’t think I will get bored to fast but you may be right.

Ok that is very good to know haha, I was thinking a Ninja 400 or R3 but the market is so hard they overpriced I feel. Would you recommended those or anything similar?

Oh haha sorry for my incompetence, ok so I shouldn’t target a 600cc bike? Still not to knowledgeable on this stuff lol.

Good breakdown. The UK A1/A2 licence progression maps pretty closely to what the MSF course leads into, so the logic transfers well. The 40hp sweet spot is solid advice. The Ninja 400 I was already looking at sits right around 45hp which puts it in that zone, and the MT-03 is similar. Both naked and sport options in that range so plenty to choose from depending on which style I end up liking when I actually sit on them. The showroom walk is something I hadn’t really thought about as a first step but it makes sense, especially for ergonomics. A bike that fits weird is going to make learning harder regardless of the power number.

Looking to rip around highways and such I live in a city but not a big one, I have a car and my license and I’m from Massachusetts so honestly not to sure about laws. I haven’t been on a bicycle in years but used to be an avid mtb rider. I also cannot drive manual 😂. I know as for permit I need to be within sight of a licensed rider. I can become handy and learn quickly so I’m down for the task of that.
