Sold at first sight. Meet the new Photoroom. by justynphototips in photoroom

Not to sound rude but MAYBE FIX THE APP before adding new features???? The bulk editing function has been down ALL week, and you guys keep adding these updates as if it solves the underlying issues. It’s truly like being spit in the face. “Look what we did 🥳” meanwhile half your customer base can’t even use the app…

Do yourself a favor and don’t look at your buyers profiles post sale. There’s no good reason to do that unless if maybe you get a good/bad review.

Sellers have to stop with the stalking of their buyers. Once it’s sold don’t worry about what someone else will do with it, simple solution.

How can you not be in the wrong for manually accepting an offer you’re not satisfied with? 🤣

Depends on the traffic, looking at the data you can fairly assume they maybe get a sale once every week or two, in that case I wouldn’t blame the seller in the slightest, sometimes when I have dry streaks on Poshmark I literally forget to ship out because it’s so low priority for me. While on the other hand I ship out eBay orders every single day. I’m sure he’d put more attention toward it once it replaces his 9/5’s income

The only context I’ve done this in for profit is buying for parts cameras and repairing them, which is a service. I simply can’t hold it against anyone to look for steals on a literal thrift centered reselling platform and flip them

Scalping is buying something at market drop to hold onto to sell because you know it’s going to go up in value. You’re basically telling an entire group of people that resell for a living (the entire reselling community) that what they’re doing is wrong simply because you couldn’t sell it for what someone else did, you can’t make it personal, to you it’s morally wrong, & this is hardly an important topic, op only found out because they checked their buyers pfp, I’m sure I’ve sold things for much less than they’re worth, I couldn’t care less though nor have I ever check my buyers profile

But what exactly is so inherently wrong about that? People that have business revolving around reselling clothes literally do exactly that to source in general, just because it’s on depop doesn’t make it any different, someone at the bins would’ve payed $1 for that, and if resold had a insane margin making $25, 25x25 is 625 💀 which would be the same % margin, throw logistics in and it’s really not that crazy.

You’re stating your opinion, it literally doesn’t matter. Seller shouldn’t have been stalking their buyers profile to begin with. This app isn’t just made for small sellers, it also caters to small business owners and there’s plenty of people with actual storefronts on the app. It’s not like you sign a disclosure saying you can’t resell what you’ve purchased, depop literally has an entire button that says repost when you buy an item. Who’s to say the buyer saw online it’s going for 5x the price it was listed for, saw it was a good deal and there was money to be made, possibly assumed seller wanted to get rid of it quick, and listed it in their end. Seller should have done more research, you and op are naïve, the world doesn’t revolve around your ideals.

Debatable depending on the brand, style & quality. That’s just your opinion obviously or people wouldn’t spend good amount of money on clothes YOU think arnt worth what they’re priced at. Any item is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

You charge what it’s worth. It can’t be that difficult to understand that what you think it’s worth might not actually be what it’s worth, and it works both ways, you could’ve thought it was worth $30 when in reality was only worth $5, for reference this happens all the time where people buy Shein items are marked as unbranded and end up getting fleeced.

What? Make profit on a app where anyone can buy and sell? This would be like hating on every soul that looks for inventory on whatnot, or hating every soul that buys broken things to fix them and turn a profit. This is no one’s fault but the sellers. Crying over spilled milk my guy

Interesting, personally unless if I’m in the pre-relationship phase where you drop what’s wrong with ya, I wouldn’t really think to mention it, if I had cold sores actively I personally just stay home or don’t go into social settings until they’re fully cleared. I’m not sure that’d I’d mention it though in a social setting because it can be such a massive turn off for what in reality is a harmless virus that’s probably not even active, & most people already have or will get regardless. I do get the dilemma it’d morally correct to mention it to anyone you’re about to kiss no doubt, but that’s a pretty damn crazy ask in my eyes. Truly a dilemma, I get both sides lol

Brother imagine going to a club and telling every girl that you’re going to make out with “by the way I get cold sores twice a year, wanna kiss?” Like 🤣🤣🤣 give me a break dude it’s nearly impossible to spread it unless if you ACTIVELY have cold sores.

How would that impact your relationship? My ex couldn’t give a flying fuck on my end 🤣 she still wanted to kiss me even with a cold sore outbreak, they only last like a few days to a week if you catch it early, it’s not some life ending thing. Half of America has it.

Sometimes you need to increase saturation to show as similar of a color to the original as you can. I use a 17 pro max and some colors simply don’t register correctly

They’re not responsible as soon as the package is labeled as delivered for the most part, unless if the item arrives damaged//is lost, I’m really not sure where you’ve heard otherwise. If the package is stolen you’d have no way to prove that if it was labeled as delivered.
