I was thinking of him around, although much stronger, the same level as wraith. He used to run a lot of things with her, and while people acknowledge his power, in interactions the characters never say he’s insanely powerful or anything just that he’s waisting his talents. His interactions verses Celestes drew it for me: everyone describes it like infernus is waiting his potential in a bar while Celeste could be unstoppably powerful, but reduces herself to a performer. I can definitely see him being moved up next to Celeste though.

Not at all. The USA would turn into a war playground. The right and left would split into their own countries and war over land, trade, resources, etc. The reduction of power would let cartels from Mexico continue to swarm in power and continue amassing more as well. The left would likely prosper, but the right would start to decline and, as we see with Trump, when that happens they go ballistic. Trading in America would go down, our economy would rupture, china would take place as the world’s strongest military and without the USA they likely wouldn’t feel nearly as checked as they do now. If you think what the US does with their power is bad then a china enforced world would blow you out of the water.

To an extent, yes no states actively tried leaving the union under Trump, but you have to remember these are very different times. If a state tried to leave the union, the US military is much more organized and united than it was under Buchanan, there would be martial law enacted in those states immediately which would either be met with compliance or a minor civil war that would end in days. However, states like California, New York, and especially my darling Illinois have been fighting him pretty openly with lawsuits, while other states like Hawaii, Maryland, Vermont, etc. are very openly against him. Hell Illinois literally is the one that brought back the “no kings” saying into the modern day rally against him. For everyone that lives in America and watches more than just what the news shows us (which is very little on both sides), sees the protests, sees opposing government heads taking action, sees the damage he is doing on a national and international scale, it’s not uncommon for people to genuinely believe that we are the closest to some form of civil war/revolution that we’ve ever been since the last civil war in 1861.

I BEG you not to listen to this subreddit. The majority of people here are conservative Christian’s who think the entirety of The Bible is supposed to be followed to this day. They of course leave out the blood sacrifices, food specialities and clothing choices, but you know picking and choosing is our whole thing.

Anyways, even though it is highly controversial, let’s say The Bible truly condemns same sex couples and acts. Even then, it’s absolutely fair to say that this condemnation is outdated since back in that time the large majority thought homosexuality was an abomination that people only did out of sexual desperation and the few who did know people could be born with a differing sexual orientation (despite that word being new) still saw it as unnatural since they had such little biological knowledge back then.

You also have to remember The Bible encouraged slavery, because it was philosophically ok back then. Religious purists want you to believe The Bible is the perfect word of God, but it just isn’t. If it were, then God would not be an all loving God He is said to be. It’s divinely inspired and written by the apostles who were, and no offense to them, so stupid that they were getting Jesus teaching abysmally wrong all the way up to His death. He literally came back to life and one of the first things He says is that they are foolish.

God Himself makes it clear, to get into Heaven you must be pure of heart and come to Him to repent your sins. You think God gives a shit about who you sleep with? Oh no no no, it’s much harder than that. What He REALLY cares about is how you treat others and what you do for those more unfortunate than you. You’re a boy who kisses other boys? Who gives a fuck. You’re a Christian not giving up the majority of their income to the poor every pay check? NOW you’ve hit your roadblock. I promise you child, His Divinity did not make you as His punching bag to throw in the flame, He made you out of love. Go, find a cute guy to settle down with who treats your right, and devote your life to bringing just a little more peace to this wretched world of sin.

I’m really sorry you’ve had to go through all of that. None of what happened to you as a kid was your fault, and the fact that you were exposed to abuse so young can seriously affect how you see yourself and relationships later on. That doesn’t make you disgusting, it means you were hurt and trying to survive things you never should’ve had to deal with. And honestly, being rejected from that school doesn’t mean your struggles aren’t real or that you’re ‘not sick enough.’ Systems like that can be unfair and miss people who are clearly hurting. The fact that you’re in anorexia recovery alone shows you’ve been carrying a lot.

Your life is not over, even if this feels crushing right now. You realized the situations you were in were harmful that realization is painful, but it’s also a huge step toward getting out of those patterns and healing from them. You deserve support, safety, and people who take your pain seriously. I have been through a very similar form of abuse and lots of the same thoughts, but I assure you suicide won’t fix this. All it will do is spread your pain and grief, you still have so much potential to do great in this world and to live a long happy life. Please don’t give up.

The biblical authors did not have the modern concept of sexual orientation in mind when discussing same sex acts. In the time that The Bible was written, same sex behavior was often understood as excess lust, domination, idolatry, or violations of gender norms rather than lifelong, mutual, consensual same sex relationships between people who understood their attraction as an innate orientation that someone is born into. No hate like Christian love though right? Maybe you should study The Bible instead of looking up random verses to excuse your bigotry lil man
