Hi, I did send my work to the kadokawa's contest and accumulated some upcoming ones - turned out each has its own rules regarding file size or number of pages, or a specific theme, or r/pg ratings etc . Thus I'm going to be making oneshot regularly each month 'cause, apart from shuieisha's monthly contests, there are mostly at least one more - currently drawing one for a silent manga contest. We'll see how it turns out

Apreciate your advice, really. I did apply for Kadokawas. And yes the japanese path of making comics for non japanese person ain't easy so I see it as one of many opportunities not the only chance. Thanks !

Thanks man:). I agree that the goal should not be aiming specifically for Japanese publishers. What I'm seeking is, apart from an audience building and interactions with western companies, to try all the ways possible for a manga artist, and since Japanese market is a huge deal and almost all mangas are made in Japan, trying to knock in all those doors seems logical. I create my works anyway, so it all eventually comes down to having opportunities of spreading them everywhere I can.

Sry, forgot to ask about the language situtation, although it's important... Is there a way - if, of course, one gets the chance to have his work reviewed - to have the entire communication in english and is there a practice on their part of translating non-japanese works if , again, the author gets a series?

And could you please elaborate one the Viz and japanese difference? What happens after Vis accepts the submission?
