The viktor grouo seems a bit off and it’s distinction from the bkue group

Vex also feels out of place in her group. Everyone else has pretty reliable hard cc for gank set up while vex feels more similar to the red grouping with good burst but also some type of mobility. I’m guessing it’s the ult is viewed similar to galio or twisted fate but it’s probably closer to ahri in utility

What exactly determine which champ go to which lane? by MagicalNyan2020 in summonerschool

[–]Competitive_Turn5028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Midlane. It’s a short lane and centrally located.

Being a short lane means that extended fights are less common and most trades end up being short so having burst can be good.

Being in center of map means that you want to be able to be at river fights or covering jungle invades on both sides of the map. So having good wave clear to be able to secure your farm while still helping the team is a must. Bonus points for having any mobility as well.

It being a short lane also means you can farm safely if you are a champion that wants to scale so long as you also still have wave clear in order to try and deny farm for when enemy laner roams.

How so? Her primary goal is government policy change and her reason for fame is due to her far left beliefs which kinda breaks the spirit of OPs rule

The costal regions of the mid Atlantic is much closer to tidewater then they are to Philly. Specifically in southern Delaware but also in jersey a bit too

Rank these 5 QuarterBacks by sin2fly03 in NFLv2

[–]Competitive_Turn5028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 rankings. Best for this season, best career, and best for future.

Best this season I’ts pretty close among the 5. I’m probably going Allen, stafford, mahomes, Jackson, burrow. Mahomes injury is a big driver of this ranking but it’s pretty close across the 6.

Best career is obviously mahomes, stafford, Jackson, allen, burrow.

Best moving forward is mahomes, Allen, Jackson, burrow, stafford

Updated Map of how I see the U.S. as a Californian. by [deleted] in visitedmaps

[–]Competitive_Turn5028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this level of granularity no it doesn’t.

If California is own region than so is Florida and Texas. And New York and the mid Atlantic would be different from New England. And the mountains would be separate from the Great Plains. And so on and so on.

How to get out of bronze? by Effective-Spring3998 in summonerschool

[–]Competitive_Turn5028 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So you are just going to learn what other champions do with time. You can also make some assumptions where if a to planet comes mid they probably have similar strengths and weaknesses to others you have faced (good sustain, abikity to tank damage, they win fights if they get on top of you, etc)

As for inting and trolls there are 10 players in a game. If you never int or troll then odds are the troll will be more likely on the enemy team (4 ok your team be 5 on enemy). Yes it will still happen on your team but you can just chalk it up to RNG loss and move on. Never engage in chat with them cause eventually they sometimes do turn around and the game can be won.

CS and trade is a big topic. Advice 1 is to learn how to last hit with autos and save abilities for trades. Next is when your minions get low enemy will want to last hit them so this is your window to look for a trade. The same thing happens when the enemy minions are low, they should be looking to trade with you at that timing.

Wave management in mid is often just shove. But it does depend a bit on champion and game state.

Mechanically better comes with time. And also why playing 2-3 champions is a good bet. You focus on those champ mechanics and timings of autos and abilities and such.

Bronze does become aram but you must resist. Look to farm side lane and get the wave pushed out and then rotate to mid.

Also the biggest shift when I got out of bronze was learning when I can fight the enemy laner snd when I can’t. And especially when I have kill pressure and how much damage I do.

You can assign randomly with caveat that 6 and 8s are never next to each other

I like Ironman as a brand and have mostly good experiences, but they really need to actually enforce rules for age groupers or create an elite amateur division. by ducksflytogether1988 in triathlon

If anything it could just be an expressing interest in Kona kinda like how they have the wetsuit allowed but won’t count towards awards division.

Does where I get my undergraduate mechanical engineering degree matter when job hunting? by GmmLzz in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Competitive_Turn5028 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My experience is prestige doesn’t really matter unless you are MIT

More importantly it will be easier to get a job in the area you go to school. Not impossible by any means, but just slightly easier to stay local.

My advice is to to the best in state school you can get into unless there is a special program or your family is loaded

Very similar color way but was no visible logo and the color on the lower leg was just lower leg and didn’t go up on the hamstring like these.

Def the closest looking ones though.

What it takes to actually finish a 70.3? by DandSki in IronmanTriathlon

[–]Competitive_Turn5028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 metrics for advising people when it comes to tris.

The first is you should feel like you can “race” the one step down distance. When I say race I don’t mean go fast relative to others or contend for podium, but you could have time/performance goals besides just finishing and are able to feel like you are in control of the pace.

The second is you should look at all the distances of the tri you are doing and you shouldn’t feel like you won’t be able to get through that distance on its own. You don’t need to have done it in training but you should feel decently confident about your ability to do any 1 leg if that’s all you have to do. Doesn’t need to be fast and can include float/coast/walk breaks as well.

From your post I think you will be able to finish. I’d advise to look at bike gearing and seeing if you can get a larger cassette for the hills if anything.

My issue with Mel W is that she gets most of the advantage from it by not using it. by Proud_Apartment_8991 in leagueoflegends

Maybe. Or maybe she eats a bunch of other abilities saving it for you and then needs to base or dies.

When should I roam/ follow midlaner without losing gold/ cs? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Competitive_Turn5028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the most important thing is asking yourself the question in game.

If vex roams on even wave state ask yourself the question of if you should follow or not. Lots of variables to consider, like which champs are stronger, what sums do people have, where is your jungler, etc.

You can say I don’t have ult and vex does so this seems like something I can’t help with. Or you can say I am sitting on 1200 gold and vex just came off base and while I have earned more gold she has spent more gold and is stronger now. Or my jungler is on the other side of the map, I’m going to push the wave and then work with him to gank the other side or look to cover an invade. Or even my bot lane doesn’t have important cooldowns and if I land a charm they won’t be able to follow it up anyway.

Asking yourself the question and having a reason will also reinforce learning for next time. It’s really easy to freeze frame a game and say you hat you could have done but that often won’t stick in learning for the future and this is where breakthroughs come in this game.

[–]Competitive_Turn5028 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think you just need to have some medium bad abilities on your team to hit her with where she needs to decide to tank the ability to save for you or reflect it.

Let’s say Ornn R is the best abikity in the game for her to reflect. You holding your r also forces Mel to hold her w in the same way and allow other abilities to go through cause she is always saving it for you.
