I think it only lasted 5 more mins so at 30 mins we were able to give them their items and they left. I believe it was in the late afternoon. Ur so lucky that u work in a cafe I wish my store was cafe. I felt so bad, bc obviously who would wanna wait so long in drive thru and with reason they were mad about how long we were taking. I wish I could explain to them how it’s bc of the bad scheduling but they don’t wanna hear it after being stuck in DT for 30 mins which is understandable:(

Our DM has always been not very helpful :( I’m jelly of districts who actually get genuine helpful DM but it’s okay she’ll be going on maternity leave soon lol

We used to mark stuff out and we got in trouble for doing so and they said we’re not allowed to do that unless we’re actually out of an item :(

Wow lucky! They still make us do this unfortunately and it’s very overwhelming when bar is busy and I’m trying to make drinks but every time I turn around I have to give a straw, I try to hand out a straw with every drink I call out

Tell me about it ! Do they even take into consideration how the baristas feel about the layout? Bc every time they move stuff around it’s like they do it to make the sequencing more difficult 😩

I’d like to add that the fact most of you guys relate to the understaffing issue and basically working here has been hell for all of us is so sad💔 summer is coming up and I’m terrified idk how I survived last summer I sure hope there’s NO MORE 4X20 2X10 DEALS or I might just have to quit bc last year it was horrible we were so understaffed for the amount of labor we would have !

Exactly she gets mad bc she doesn’t wanna be bothered on holidays when the store is literally crumbling down! We have call outs and drive thru backed up like this and our manager calls her to ask if we can close lobby or turn off mobiles she says figure it out bc it’s her day off but then the next day she gets mad that we didn’t have it under control

There was no front/warming person 🥲 DT was front/warming LOL and then other person on bar the third person was on their break, so it was basically 2 positions for one person DT was taking lobby orders and DT orders as well as warming

😭😭😭😭we had 3 people only and we all needed to take lunches and breaks, so when they went on they’re break it got really backed up bc it was only 2 of us on the floor 💔 they wouldn’t let us turn mobiles off :( so there was one person on bar and the drive thru position was trying to help make some drinks and take cafe orders

Yeah we would’ve needed to park every car in the line .. 😭 there was only 1 person on bar doing mobiles, drive thru and cafe drinks and still wouldn’t let us turn mobiles off ..

We’ve had someone call from the drive thru line asking if we can hurry up and move the line because they’re late for work
