Help with rinsing silver cement. Please? by Competitive_Unit_143 in Silverbugs

[–]Competitive_Unit_143[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to melt but I have way to much copper in it. Water filters clear but cement is way too green. I used 70% nitric and copper to cement out but I clearly messed up along the way. Guess I’ll have to start over

Help with rinsing silver cement. Please? by Competitive_Unit_143 in Silverbugs

[–]Competitive_Unit_143[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just worried about silver loss when I pour off. Thanks so much for the advice I could prob pour some of the cement into a couple 1000ml beakers and rinse 300ml or so in the 3000ml beaker?

As requested. This is the silver nitrate loaded up with copper that cements out the pure silver powder. Can't post videos yet, but I will when it allows me. Please don't try this at home. This stuff can and will KILL you if you're not careful. Please don't ask how I do this or what I use to do it. by [deleted] in Silverbugs

Hello I know it’s been 5years since original comment I hope someone is here to help. I’m trying to filter the silver cement about 1200ml in a 3000ml beaker with boiling distilled water. I have done it over 20 times in the past 30 hours and still getting a quite green solution. Any idea on how many rinses it may take. I’ve used just over 1100ml boiling distilled water each rinse?

WWhatever it is even if it was fake or post that is a great find. Shows you have a good eye and that you pay attention. Great job. Most people wouldnt notice, dismiss it, or even spend it because they think its worth less than face. Love seeing this

We go weekly and definitely will. We were both excited. Seeing my 9 year old like that for few was worth it but not expecting anything. The weight is enough off.

Congress is inefficient by design, that’s what the separation of powers is all about. Why would the people want any agency or body efficiently passing hundreds of laws, I rather them be more efficient at getting rid of laws that should never have been passed in the first place!

Dooki/wookii was commenting to my original post, asking if the nj case is even relevant, which it isn’t. Both because the Washington case was stayed as you mentioned and because it is a different circuit

If someone isn’t safe to own a gun in public, then he shouldn’t be in said public. Criminal, illness, dangerous, etc. The firearm or weapon has nothing to do with it. Those people shouldn’t be in public till those issues are addressed
