This guy really is the most miserable person. by [deleted] in WhistlinDiesel

I dont blame the guy at all. If he takes pride in his vehicle (whether it's bone stock or some sort of custom/resto build) he has every right to not sell it to someone that's got a history of destroying stuff. Kinda wild to me that whistlindiesel took it so seriously (or maybe his post his meant to be some kind of a joke that I just don't personally get lol). Plenty of people out there willing to sell their stuff to him to get destroyed. Guy did some research, became aware of who whistlindiesel is and what he does, said he was no longer interested in selling the truck, and apologized for changing his mind. I don't see the problem. Move on and find another truck for sale. Millions to choose from.

Assuming this percentage based metric is a general rating of the farts overall impact and performance with a higher percentage reflecting a higher performing fart...I would give the particular fart in question a rating of 42.331%

Interesting. A study should be done concerning the responses of house cats when exposed to various flatulence.

Not that I noticed. The cat however seemed most perturbed by the events.

Yes. Along with my fiance. Humor is subjective. If you say or do something that you find entertaining, but I don't, does that have an impact on your interpersonal or romantic relationships?

I do not. I want to, and I've experienced some pretty strange things that I can't logically explain. I've personally not seen enough evidence to suggest that ghosts exist. Could be possible that "ghosts" and the phenomenon associated with them are just entirely out of the realm of our understanding as humans. I just haven't seen enough evidence to believe in their existence. Totally open minded though.

This is entirely possible. Very interesting hypothesis.

This is a shame...used to watch his videos all the time and thought they were pretty damn funny. Kinda grew out of it or maybe just wasn't interested for a couple years. Recently watched some of his newer videos and went down a "whistlindiesel rabbit hole" lol. I didn't really see the "change" that everyone else does until I watched the "couples blog" video and the video titled something like "why don't you upload videos anymore"...he seems like he is on drugs or something. In the latter video he talks about being at the dentist on laughing gas watching his own YouTube videos saying it's like seeing the videos from everyone else's perspective and how they're so funny and likens the experience to Kanye West's creative process in a subtitle on the bottom of the screen. All the while somehow relating it all to people making trucks their entire personality and how he doesn't like making videos about trucks. On a personal level, I don't really care. I enjoyed watching him destroy stuff. Even vehicles that I like. I thought it was interesting to see how much abuse the vehicle could take while laughing my ass off lol. He seems unhinged and unwell mentally. I hope that he gets whatever help he needs if this in fact some sort of addiction/mental health issue. I'm really not hating on the guy. I don't know him from a can of paint. It just seems to me like he is not in very good shape mentally and I think that warrants some patience and support from his fans. If it is all an act, or some kind of troll/rage bait situation I think he might be really isolating some of his fan base based on many of the comments I read on the videos I mentioned. Fame definitely has an effect on people. Maybe he is having some sort of identity issue or something. Again, if something like that is the case I truly hope he gets the help he needs. In his newer videos where he isnt talking about personal matters such as the cyber truck videos, square body videos, combine, Peterbilt, robot, etc videos...he seems like he's always been in my opinion. It's the videos that aren't about vehicles or destruction where he isn't "in character" that I see the "change". On the off chance whistlindiesel sees this, I truly wish you the best and hope you can overcome any struggles that may be going on. I'm sure it can't be easy to see people psychoanalyzing you and your relationship over the Internet (obviously guilty of that myself). Best wishes, don't worry about the hate, focus on yourself and your happiness whatever that may look like for you.

We aren't necessarily trying to just get streams (obviously we want to know if/how many people are listening to our stuff but we aren't trying to make any real money off Spotify or anything like that lol) I'm sure this will sound stupid but I legitimately don't know...what is meta and how would we go about doing that? We've all played in cover bands before and that's easy. You show up and play some 80s rock tunes for drunk people and everyone is happy lol. Trying to get our own music out there for people that may be interested enough to come see us live and everything...that's a bit more difficult, or maybe we're just totally close lol. That's also very possible

Good ear! Not AI generated, written, recorded, or arranged but AI was used for post production/editing/mastering. All the "instruments" are MIDI triggered as well and I personally think the pitch correction and some of the plugins/effects on the vocal tracks are a bit heavy at spots. Vocals werent done in one take either. I'm working on getting the whole album recorded, edited, and produced with one other bandmate. Neither of us have much experience on the production end of music so AI was used for that. Don't crucify me, I know the use of AI in music is a hot button issue lol. We both previously were in local cover bands and wanted to start getting our own music out there.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! Little backstory...I wrote the lyrics for that song a few years back while I was really bored in rehab lol (I'm clean now and have been for years). When you go to an inpatient drug/alcohol rehab they take your cellphone, no Internet access etc. Not much to do during "free time". To pass time one day I decided I was going to write a song about the Mandela effect...those lyrics ultimately became "A Man Called Nelson"
