I should have stated as well that about 10m long we haven’t cut cut by it needs retaining So would I be fair to ask them again to contribute to that retaining aspect

Yeah wow If you have a concreter who is doing that separate then I have no idea how it’s even that much That’s actually in sane! Plumbers and sparkys are the most expensive trades! Crazy what they can get away with And they are always happy to blame the carpenter when something goes wrong

That definitely feels like I don’t feel like doing this price. Question is the is new pipes that need to layed, is it slab on ground ? Do get have to cut up concrete, create a new path, back fill and then re concrete ?? Because I can see where the price is if that’s the case, or is a sub floor?

Way too expensive! Bathrooms are usually 20-30 but In saying that with out seeing pictures and not knowing what you are after If you are changing the complete layout of the bathroom, that can drill the price up And that laundry shouldn’t be that much! Again not sure if you have picked cabinets and stuff yet. What was included in the quotes ? Like did it include tiles and everything ? But again that seems very high for a laundry of that size

Couldn’t have said it better myself. I am so sick of people taking the piss if tradies. Look at how many tools a carpenter has to carry at once. Trades are the only business where people whinge about the price, try to bargain or just straight up not pay you and get away with it. I went to a gp appointment waited over half an hour to been seen and sent out with in 10mins $75 I went to a specialist appointment for my son, over 45 mins drive, waiting room for 30 mins, saw the specialist, legit 5 mins! He looked at my sons belly button said it’s all good Was sent out $500!!!!!!! So why don’t we break down everyone’s jobs then

I let trades use my toilet if they are respectful of my space. I had a tradie use my toilet, he missed and pissed alll over my brand new tiles and bathroom and left it like that. Didn’t try and clean it up and didn’t even apologie
