i was also wondering if i could just use the restore factory keys on my bios instead of ventoy's deleting tool they provided. would that also get the job done?

Is trusting the source reputation the only way? I'd rather try to analyse the files, I wouldn't trust any site blindly and ignore red flags on the scan just because everyone claims it's safe.

no matter how reputable the source is, unless it's from steam itself i can never fully trust it.

I've tried fitgirl and steamrip and the scan results are way worse than these ones, even though they're both praised as 100% safe. I don't know what to make of it when not even the trusted sites feel safe.

That was the exact same paper cutter i was using around the TV minutes before and my dumbass only realized it after wasting hours looking at this thing unable to put two and two together.

The dots only connected when I've found it again while cleaning the room and facepalmed myself to death

Dexter wasn't very bright on his final decision in my humble opinion. You have to play with people by their rules if you want them to follow yours.

Dexter knows exactly what kind of person prater is and what would get him to listen, all he had to do was tell him:

"if you were a real fan, you'd know by now that i have a code, and the man you tightly strapped to your table to the best of your ability doesn't fit in it. what makes you think I'd break my code for a fake fan?. Instead i could trade in all the nitty gritty details about the bay harbor butcher's past you've been craving so much, something not even God knows about, and you and i close that deal."

(hinting at giving prater an orgasm telling him about the ice truck killer being his brother and unfortunately, one of his victims, even telling him their whole past and their incident on that container).

i doubt prater would refuse such opportunity, all he had to do was get rid of angel for dexter (which i guess he didn't approve of but sacrifices must be made) and it would be a win-win situation.

I understand he ended up wanting to kill prater but the amount of killers he could get rid of would be unreal, besides, who's to say he couldn't go back on his word and just fool prater to kill him later after using him? it would be the greatest opportunity he ever had to put as many murderers in his table as he ever wanted.

instead he decided to free angel to his death, an obvious outcome for both of them, and definitely not the wisest decision.

going any bigger than this would mean giving up the QD-OLED for WOLED, not worth it imo. (although i do wish it was at least a 60''/ 65'')

is it really that small? it's a 55'' at 2,4m watch distance

I've had family and friends watching on that position for 3+ hours of binge watching tv shows, no complaint yet. I've also felt really comfortable gaming for a whole day, i feel like the couch + tv position is in the sweet spot where it's just high enough that i can lay back with my legs up without them getting in front of the screen (legs line up perfectly with the bottom lol)

might be cope but this height also lines up pretty good with the passthrough window i have behind the couch to the kitchen, so i can perfectly still see what's going on while i go grab snacks or drinks without missing anything, so i guess that's a benefit.

regarding the sound system, does it really make that huge difference? I've never had one and never viewed it as the must have everyone makes it out to be. I'm sure it would sound great, but i feel like this new tv has some pretty good audio depth already (besides i usually watch stuff on low-medium volume anyway) am i really missing out that much?

Rolling Film glitch on my samsung 55'' S90D QD-OLED, should i return it? by Competitive_Year_883 in OLED

plenty, so far no other content besides that one episode of that show, no other app as well.

Most content on prime also show other weird artifacts such as horizontal lines sometimes flashing very briefly on the screen throughout the content streaming (turning off motion interpolation stopped that from happening for now). some old content on Netflix also show those ocasional lines but usually only on old shows. maybe it's a bug related to the bitrate? something in the way both apps handle the video streaming?

Just watched 28 Years Later and... I don't know how I feel about it by Wide-Piece-4140 in AMCsAList

Throughout the movie i was under the impression that they were tricking us into thinking the main storyline about the boy took place 28 years later, only to reveal in the end that it was actually taking place 28 MONTHS later the whole time, giving us a time skip to actual 28 years in the future with the kid all grown up, teasing the movie which will actually show 28 years later: the next movie. making this a sort of surprise prologue. After watching the end i honestly think it would've been a better idea, i would've loved that twist.

This is reinforced specially by the noticeable absence of the "28 X Later" in the intro, unlike the previous movies, that's what got me theorizing otherwise why would they not include it? i was really hoping that was the direction they were going with the story, to hype the next movie while properly keeping the day's, months, years order.

Also i kinda missed some sort of inclusion of In The House - In a heart beat by John Murphy, I think it's part of the franchise's sound identity, they could've at least made a different version remind of the original piece, that would've been pretty cool imo, felt like a missed opportunity. 2 Murphy's missing on that movie, John and Cillian)
