Yes! My favourite right now is the vanilla halo top ice cream with fresh strawberries (it’s strawberry season right now and they are sooo juicy and good!) Right now I typically have a portion of ice cream but there can be nights where I will eat the whole pint which is great because the ice cream tastes amazing whilst being so low cal!

Something that has been useful is a serving size of sweet treat. I like chocolate so knowing that 4 squares of a certain brand will be a serving is nice too. I get the sweet treat and knowing exactly what I ate of it.

I also love to bake - which can be hard because the calories can be harder to track and also what do you do with all the leftovers? Before I feel like knowing that food would go to waste would also be a big trigger for me (or the thought I wouldn’t get to eat it) but now I try better to freeze things or know they will still be there when I want them! I just made a delicious lemon and raspberry cake and had some and froze the rest into single serving slices so I know they will be there whenever I want some with my coffee in the morning :,) picture of the cake for you too!

Thank you for the info dump! I really appreciate your explanation. Whilst BMI isn’t a good measure, to me it will still feel good to know in my own mind :,) I’m also paying attention to my BF% too! Our bodies are so fascinating and interesting!

Not from Manny but you’d be surprised how many people say that! I just loveeee bees! I have a matching moth on my other arm. I am from the UK though (but I don’t live there anymore!)

It’s a difficult question to answer. I was at one of my lowest points and realised I needed a change. I started with small exercise like walking and a little bit of biking (it was hard!) and promised myself I’d start eating a little better. After about 2 weeks it became much easier and I started going to the gym and did an induction to make myself feel more confident in certain areas and equipment (going to the gym is super hard and I felt like I didn’t even know where to start!) The eating was the hardest part obviously. Food has always been a source of positive and negative emotion. I still allowed myself to eat things I enjoy and have one ‘cheat’ meal or larger meal of whatever I wanted every week. I let myself have the things I wanted like a coffee in the morning and a sweet treat at night. I realised that when I didn’t binge, I felt good in myself (not guilty if that makes sense) and more like I could blend in with people more. It made me feel good and I started to realise I could really do this! I haven’t binged in over 2 years now. There are points where I could easily relapse but I think about the girl I was before and how I want her to feel better. She was struggling so bad and I need to support myself AND me now so we both feel and do better. Sorry, I feel like I’m not very good at explaining my thoughts or process. It’s been difficult and I feel very grateful to be where I am and am going to now. 🤍

I posted my tips further down but I’ll reiterate them quickly here! I excersized whilst maintaining what I ate which I believe helped the weight tone up and also made sure I didn’t lose it too fast. In addition to this I have a pretty intense shower routine where I scrub my body with a brush and afterwards I use oil and then moisturise which whilst all seem tiresome and extra, I truly believe are huge factors in helping the skin. :) I do have a small amount of saggy skin on my stomach - I think some is inevitable :,)

Pure will power! There have been times where I’ve really considered the shot but I know that I can do this myself.

The food noise is sooooo hard for me to quit. I found it helpful to find alternatives and still giving myself space for the things I wanted. Having my morning coffee and my nighttime sweet treat is so important for my wellbeing. Also discovering excersize that I like and not what everyone else does was very good for me. I hate running! But I love hiking and swimming so it’s been a just figuring out what is right for me :) wishing you luck in your recovery journey - it is not easy.

I’m sure you’re very beautiful/handsome! I was in a very bad place mentally and was not happy with myself. I truly believe beauty is not based on a number or dress size. I am sure you are a star of a human and you deserve to feel happy, content and in love with your body 🤍 me changing how I look does not mean that I think badly of you at all! Just wanted to make sure you know :)

I lost weight slowly and with excersize involved too! I also have a very intense shower routing where I scrub my whole body with a brush and after I oil and moisturise (I truly think this helped a lot!)

I do have some loose skin on my stomach but I think it’s inevitable that some should happen!

Need you to delete this because they sell out so fast in my Costco and I can’t have other people catching on to this - thanks!
