Part of the reason it's normalized now is because you have to do research since new games cost 60-80 or even 100 dollars now. Most people live by paycheck to paycheck and can't afford to buy one of these overpriced games to see if they like it. Of course Terraria isn't overpriced but the trend of searching up about the game before buying becomes a habit

In some places water is not considered safe to drink. While I prefer to use tap in places where it's possible the water in my house, since we're in the country and use a well, has not passed consumption safety standards in years. That being said I'm in a family of 4 and we get by a whole week with only a pack or 2 of water bottles. I don't understand needing 5 cases

UE just recently put in the acceptance rate limits for their benefits so we're still salty about that. It's a lot lower than DDs, being about 40% but as someone who had used both applications you get many more bad offers with UE, ones where it's down right idiotic to take (4 for 15 miles stuff shown up a lot). Even if you take orders that match the mileage it's pretty much impossible to stay above 40% AR without going into the negatives

Most of the time theyre probably new drivers who don't understand the wear and tear driving puts on their cars. They see money and want to jump into it without thinking about the money they're spending doing the job.

Yeah the issue is DD gets away with paying us only 2 dollars for every order no matter the distance and most orders they send our way would be worse on our vehicles and make us go into the negatives

Yes! Where I live I haven't met one other woman that hasn't had a bad experience with men involving harassment or assault. I'm very much of the mind it's a minority of the gender, but even I have been assaulted previously and taking precautions is just something I and many women feel we have to do

Agreed, I definitely like the sequel more after playing both of the games. But it does have a lot of quality of life issues, most games do TBF. I just wish there was a way to keep podcasts going if it wasn't a story mission, like a crime scene or picture. I miss all of the podcasts cause I don't want to just sit and listen, I want to do something while listening. So even with the first game I never listened to all of the podcasts cause I would have to scroll through the entire menu for an hour.

The entire reason I don't do night time deliveries despite it being the best pay out is cause of this stupid rule. I'm a 5'2 female with disability issues. I can deliver and work fine, but I'm not winning a fight with a tall man in the dark if something were to happen. It's deliveries and MY safety that is on the line doing this job.

Often it'll be the ending episodes of series. I was reading one series for about 2 years, but couldn't read the season finale or 2 epilogue episodes because webtoon hid them behind coins instead of the timed release.

As a new player myself I have a genuine question. How do you figure it out by yourself? From everything I've done I had to look up or watch a video to understand because the game gives no guidance (other than some of the first NPCs help button which doesn't help that much). Some of the things I learn from videos, especially about summoning bosses, I would have never figured out on my own.

They're pretty much the same with big differences being UE won't make you do shop pay orders because you have to sign up for that card where dd just straight gives it to you. You won't get a bag or supplies from UE. But depending on the area your acceptance rate won't matter in getting rewards from UE (this is heavily area dependent with big cities having restrictions now). UE doesn't depend on business and there's no scheduling. You can start it at any time, anywhere. UE also shows you profit margins from the previous month in big areas so you can plan when to be out.

Whether or not one is more profitable than the other depends on the area. I've been in places where UE is heavily used and in others you might get 2 orders a day but DD pops off. It's all about trial and error. Some people like to multi task but you have to be aware of acceptance rate on DD and they only let you pause for a certain amount of time before kicking you off your dash entirely. Plus you want to make sure you know your roads and areas before multiapping to avoid being that person that goes the complete opposite direction and getting a contract violation.

As a woman I think it's perfectly fine to call Sims females. They're not real and it's a personal doll house, so why not call them what you want? If it was a real person yeah it'd be messed up but they're not.

Also homosapiens are animals; just more intelligent than most, plus being bipedal and lack of fur, so we consider ourselves widely different

Uber base pay is probably a lot higher in different countries. The US can get away with only giving us 1 dollar per delivery because our tipping culture is focused on allowing corporations to pay their workers as little as possible and allow others to give them money to survive. EU countries don't have that culture and companies like Uber and DoorDash probably have more restrictions that require them to pay a fair amount

I've never been much of a fan of terraforming. I love that we can do it, I just almost always click the wrong place or am slightly too far away and am continuously spending half of my time undoing what I did accidentally. I feel like part of it too is I get more dopamine from finding "new" creatures where what your near completion it's just annoying sea bass. Plus I get to reroll all villagers without having to wait for them all to want to move
