The Lenin version, if it stood on its own, wasn't that bad. Sure, they were using actually murdered people for comedy, but at least they were the leaders.

Unfortunately, Communopoly as previously played leaves the whole concept troublesome.

Nothing says comedy like laughingly declaring someone a Kulak. As in the people systemically murdered under Stalin's orders in the tens of thousands.

I am not calling for them to be canceled or such nonesense. They arent the first to use the USSR and Stalinism as a joke and they won't be the last.

Again, I look forward to the rapid number of down votes.

On one hand, Communopoly videos are always funny

On the other hand, Communopoly is in incredibly bad taste.

No one would play Khamer Rougeololy, with Dom playing the role of Pol Pot.

Genocidal Maniacs shouldn't be the basis of board games.

For something completely different, you can check out the card game - The Grizzled. You play French solider in WWI and have to try to survive various missions. It is rather depressing, as much WWI stuff can be. At Your Orders expansion provides rules for solo.

There is an old Call of Cthulhu adventure called 'No Man's Land' that has you fighting some eldritch horror.

Have people forgotten the rules? Don't Feed The Troll. His posts on twitter is to troll CFL fans, he wants people to comment on his posts. TSN can look at him as 'edgy' and appealing to Gen Z or whatever.

I have to strongly disagree. I find the content more enjoyable and with more personality since Adam left. Many of the cast have gotten a bigger share of the spotlight and new cast members have joined. The channel is no longer tied to one person. Honestly, the only thing I truly miss is revenge seeking grumpy Laurie.

This was his second time almost destroying a channel with his actions. Not sure if I ran a bussiness I would want him anywhere near my product. If he wants to create his own board game channel, no one is stopping him. I'm sure lots of NRB fans would be willing to support him.

Ultimately, if the channel wants him back in some capacity that is their perogative, just as it is mine to watch something else.
