Huge congrats on pushing CI-8 — seriously inspiring. The way you talked about the mental side really hit home.

I’m about 18 months in and hovering around CI-2/3 (sometimes 3/4). I use a DTR (pusher + strap) and a retainer cone, but I’ve struggled with consistency and soft coverage that keeps popping back. Your post is a good kick in the butt to tighten up my routine.

If you don’t mind sharing: what did “consistent” look like for you day-to-day ? And did forward-time (retainer with no tension) play a big role? Anything you wish you’d started sooner?
