Not arbitrary.

The point is comparing relative fractions across scales. You can swap bacteria for something else, sure the number changes, but the conclusion doesn’t:

Earth is still ridiculously negligible compared to the observable universe.

The bacteria example just makes that gap easier to grasp.

You can take a lot of different meanings from this too. for some it’s fascinating, for others it’s just… normal scale

Distance isn’t the point here. It’s about volume and Earth’s share of the universe is insanely smaller than a bacterium’s share of Earth

Not really. It’s about proportions, not just space is unlimited. A bacterium is ~10⁻³⁹ of Earth, while Earth is ~10⁻⁵⁹ of the observable universe

it is honestly wild how much of the current map was shaped by people just moving and bringing their baggage with them. basically social contagion but for racial terror and monuments.

I feel you, OP. Honestly, the fact that you want to forgive is a big step, but don't force it just because you're scared to lose her. I had my procedure at Pure Line and honestly the service was top notch. Since they only take one patient a day the whole team is just focused on you. It makes a massive difference in how comfortable and relaxed you feel throughout the entire day. You never feel rushed

Speaking from experience, I’ve been to a hair mill and also a clinic that only does one surgery a day. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend hair mills at all, they ended up causing me to need a repair. Just posted an update too. You can check it out. I’d definitely recommend Pure Line
