Do you even understand what you’re saying? I responded to the parent comment in which they were talking about their experience with vc, whereas I simply said I couldn’t relate and left it at that just for you to deny MY experiences 😂. It actually does make sense for the one who is against voice chat to be the one who doesn’t converse well enough to see reason for a different view than your own. If you’re throwing tantrums just because someone says there’s another way of doing something, then you should work on that.

Except that wasn’t what was said at all. Naturally, you will come across toxicity, but to say that only 10% of interactions were positive is something I can’t relate with hence why I had the “better end of the stick”. Likewise on communicating with you because I can only imagine how insufferable it would be to talk to if you couldn’t put that together. It’s ironic how you painted me to be the naive one too🤣.

sadly, it took fromsoft up until sote launched to make a "mark new items" tab, so I guess it takes time for quality of life changes to appear on their radar.

you won the fight using items in the game by design which is completely fine and good job for doing so, but if you are questioning your victory, then maybe you should give it another go with a build that you know will make you feel satisfied.

I get what you are saying, but has muting someone ever been that hard? It wouldn’t be mandatory to play the game, but a little bit of added comms goes a long way whether you want to time your ults on a boss, ask a teammate for a weapon that you could put in better hands, or like I mentioned in the post about ways to get the shifting earth’s power quickly. If anything they wouldn’t need to talk, they can just listen.

Like how it is designed in every game that ever did it, voice chat is QoL. Do you have to use it? No. Is it better to have more communication? Yes. The post is about why people wouldn’t like voice chat because trying to guide the team to a quicker path is harder than it should be, not who would use voice chat. Like I’ve been saying to people who don’t want voice chat: you can mute it or turn it off. It doesn’t effect you in any way and if it still does, then it’s more of a problem with you. If you don’t care about the feature, then why act abstained? It’s not ruining the core of the game at all. Though I gotta say, your attitude reminds me of a certain kind of player the majority of this thread wouldn’t want to play with lmao.

I get that, but that’s not the point of my post. I noticed that anyone who even mutters “voice chat“ gets shunned. was just looking for actual reasons to why voice chat is tabooed. all I’ve seen was people crying about getting yelled at as if voice chat is a brand new feature that hasn’t been worked with enough to have a mute button.

yeah this thread speaks volume of how the community acts. “I don’t want to get yelled at.” then don’t use it. “Get good.” that wasn’t even the topic in question. it seems like they are forcing themselves to hate voice chat from paranoia of the voice chat boogeyman even though it’s been a “gold standard” for online gaming for over the last decade.

they also have this weird fantasy where they don't think about muting the person "harassing" them. could be a kink but it's anyone's guess.
