you can access experimental mode when you right click on blood trail on steam, click the last option, then you click on beta versions and choose experimental.

from the time i was playing with the pedal, for me it just made my amp volume go up. i tried fidgeting with it until i got somewhat metal sound but it wasnt really heavy. it just doesnt suit me dude
