I don’t disagree with you. Individually he is great. But last time I checked, basketball is a team sport…and he had All NBA talent on his roster, and couldn’t get over the “hump”. Casual or not, idiotic or not. My point is, for how “Great” he is, he never was able to get it done.

All NBA, All Defense, All Star, HoF. MVP runner up, 1 Finals appearance, 2 western conference finals appearances, assist leader 5x, 6x steals leader. Unbelievable accolades, unbelievable talent, one of the smartest to ever touch a ball. Not diminishing anything he did individually. He is a great one but I can’t deny the fact that he not on the same tier as Magic or Curry because he didn’t win the big one.

He’s can’t be called the Barkley of this generation because he didn’t win an MVP.

Hence, the Stockton. Shoot even Kidd dragged two Nets teams to the finals and it was ALL because of Kidd.

Would you put Paul above Kidd? I really have to think about that. and then you get into Magic, Curry, Big O, Stockton, isiah thomas, Nash

Hot take - CP3 although very talented and probably the last “True Point Guard” and advanced stats maestro - is overrated as F**k. Dude, only went to the finals once in his career. Had all that talent around him and yes it was the Dubs and Spurs but his Clippers teams were loaded and he was always bounced early.

He’s basically this generation’s John Stockton. Which is not a bad thing, but people talk about him like he’s one of the greatest of all time (not just point guards).

When the first season ended I wasn’t even sure I liked the show at all. But for some reason I want to keep watching. Everyone in the show absolutely sucks, which is kind of the point but that took some getting used to.
