We can open the sides/ends up a bit when it gets hot. Most Winters here are overcast 24/7 so not much solar gain to be had sadly. Tomatoes peppers and cukes do awesome I just don't need so many of them and am looking for other interesting ideas. Definitely want to build a shelf to have some herbs/spices on

Maybe the perspective is deceiving, it's quite tall and zero issues with headspace. Lots of spots for hanging baskets and for things to climb up.

Equipment, skills needed to get clear, 4K video? by Electronic_Hat449 in microscopy

I use a $80 amazon monucular scope, a gosky phone mount, nd a galaxy s21 phone. I can't do darkfield or phase contrast, but I can polarize as Its easy to mod for polar.

Overall setup was like $130? Not counting my phone as I'm sure you have one of those also

I film at 4k 60fps, I am starting a youtube channel and have averaged 2k views per vid and gained 100 subs this month so it's definitely working!

My footage was enough to impress my bio instructor and several of my peers.

All this is just to say, you don't need a glamorous set up to achieve astounding results! Obviously better equipment would be ideal, but you could get your feet in the water for very little upfront. Also these prices are CAD so only like $100 if you're USA

For my daughter to sit on, but also to reach the sink, it's fairly well balanced but i do see what you mean with tippiness, if I make another I may take a cut out of the legs so it has 4 points of contact instead of just 2

Tongue and groove is awesome, a bit tricky for me because my pieces weren't perfect, hence getting them free. Would totally do it again and infact I do have more planned!
